Resident enragement.

I visited the community during the holidays. It was so heartwarming to see all the residents decorating the community. Some were decorating the tree, some were hanging stockings, while others were creating centerpieces for the dining tables. This time of year my mom is more lonely, living alone. We always have good intentions of visiting and spending time with her, but the hustle and bustle of the holiday season gets in the way. Seeing the residents sharing the spirit of the holidays together made my choice Easy. We are looking forward to visiting mom at the community this holiday season. If Mom can fit us in on her busy social calendar. :)

Beautiful, new community that just needs a little tweaking.

The facility is very light, airy and spacious. The outdoor spaces are beautiful, the food is excellent, [name removed] one of the activities personnel is wonderful and so are the med techs, caregivers and front desk personnel.

Go beyond the beautiful surroundings and ‘window dressing’ when considering Sage Valley Senior Living for your parents!

Our family chose Sage Valley Senior Living because we believed in the quality of care and support, they promised to provide. However, our experience raised significant concerns, particularly regarding our mother's safety and well-being. Despite paying for a higher level of care, my mother fell numerous times in her room due to delayed assistance from staff during her nighttime toileting needs. We had a conversation with Sage Valley staff to address the lack of prompt response to my mother's calls for help. This is not the first time this has happened, and it became clear that my mother, who is strong and spirited despite her frailty, required more attentive care. We enlisted (at great expense) a private aide to assist with our Mom’s daily hygiene, toileting, and engagement in the community because we noticed she had been somewhat neglected by Sage staff. Excellent place

My mom is so happy. I should have insisted she move 3 years ago. She and 4 ladies have become the best of friends. The food is top notch. The new activity director even has a college degree! The director is hands on and gives out his cell phone if you need him after hours. All the staff loves my mom and all the other patients there. I am so thankful we chose this place. I highly recommend this facility.

A Place for Mom has scored Sage Valley 7.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
