Staff are not accommodating, not friendly and service (even in serving their meals) is so slow. High turn over of staff, which is not good for the residents living there. They didn’t recognize my presence in spite of the fact that I was the one who facilitated the residents admission in their facility & there was document supporting my request. Pls call if you want more details of their service. Tnx

Be sure to spend time on the units if possible; ask specific questions about the different levels of care for the price difference, especially between assisted and memory care; request care staff to resident ratio. Summit is excellent for cleanliness and ability to visit anytime. Our experience is staff shortages have significantly reduced scheduled activities from occurring and we have experienced delays in services/ bloodwork/ communication.

February 23, 2024Thank you!
This is an excellent community. The community has lots of activities to keep the residents busy. There are three meals a day served and there are choices to choose from. The staff are great to work with, and they are able to answer our questions quickly.

Regency is an amazing Assisted Living, because it's not just a facility, but it's a *community.* Regency feels like home. The connection between team members, residents, and their families is a strong one!

The team members are always welcoming and friendly. If there is ever an issue, big or small, they are quick to resolve it. The residents bring so much light and happiness to my life. They are truly the best to work with. This place is like my home away from home.

Beautiful and genuineness is just the beginning. The staff always have a smile on their face. [name removed] at the concierges desk is a true joy. The building is gorgeous and the care is outstanding. If you have a loved one that is looking for retirement with heart, this is the place to go!

Unfortunately our loved ones experience was relatively short but it was to no fault of the community, we felt the staff genuinely cared for our loved one and the other residents there. They had pretty good response times and they always seemed to have great participate between the residents with the activities. The community itself was very clean.

I toured this community and it was very nice! Brand new, new staff, everyone was very friendly. It's a little pricey, but seems worth it. This would be my top choice for myself if I ever need a facility.
I would tell others that if you are going to be able to visit your loved one regularly, and don't expect clear communication towards the family this community is adequate. The staff communication with the family wasn't clear during in person visits, over the phone, or via email. Also, the intercommunication of the staff members on the different shifts didn't happen well. The care of the resident was excellent. The staff was difficult to locate at times while visiting of our loved one. The staff was able to get to know our family member well and the preferences they preferred. For a resident with a good memory and needing a little assistance, this would be an excellent community for them.

I loved this community and may have picked this community if it was closer to us for us to be able to see our loved one more often. We all fell in love with this community.
Our loved one was only there for a short period of time so they did not get to really experience the activities or meals and dining service. However, we liked the community because it is newer, it seemed really bright and homey feeling.

They have a lot of flexibility and are very Inviting. They're very flexible about visiting as well. They do a good job keeping us informed. I just wish they had more inside doctor visits. I'm having to do a lot of transporting our loved one back and forth to appointments.

Overall they have been really great and the staff are all super friendly. The only real complaint I have is that they lost her mothers day gift. It was on her bed and now no one can find it. Also sometimes her clothes go missing and then miraculously show up. I would recommend to others looking, especially for this area. I would highly suggest to others to clean your loved ones clothes so things do not go missing.

A Place for Mom has scored Regency at Augusta 8.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
