I would say that they could do better in the nutrition department where diabetic patients are left with few options for an appropriate diet. I picked this community because of the availability and convenient location.

Proveer at Port City is about to start some renovations, which will improve the cleanliness in the main hallways with new floors and paint. The foyer and dining area are to be spruced up, too. They also have a new chef, and the food is improving daily as he is getting settled in. Overall, the facility is wonderful!!

Overall, I find this facility to be clean and the staff and residents to be friendly. I think I made the right decision to have my loved one here. The staff is very friendly and they look out for the residents. I feel like they do their best. The waiting area of the facility feels very comfortable. The residents are able to enjoy a nice outdoor area to sit and/or take walks. What I like about my loved one's studio apartment is that he has a kitchenette. Not all places have that. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement. I would like to see more diversity within the management staff. Also, during the holidays when staff is short, there needs to be a stronger protocol in place if there's an emergency . Lastly, I would like to see more variety with the meals, especially breakfast. But again, overall it's a good place. They try to make it a friendly and pleasant place to be. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Everyone is nice and my mom seems happy. She is much better and the staff have her out of her wheel chair and walking. The only issue I have had is getting her prescription medicine myself and bringing it to her. The nurse there wouldn't accept it and the pharmacy they use is expensive because for some reason her insurance isn't covering it. It's frustrating but that's about the only thing. Overall I would recommend Vitality Living Regency to others.

While our loved one was there we appreciated how much the staff members got to actually know our loved one and really treated him as if he was apart of their family. They really are wonderful people so for that the value was worth it. They were so awesome and also communicated to us anytime something happened to matter how big or small and we would absolutely recommend them to other families based on the experience that we had.

The facility is lovely, the staff is kind. Improvements are needed in follow-through on promises to take care of issues and in attention to detail in the business office. Keep good notes of conversations and go over invoices carefully.

The lady that we talked to and who helped us out was great. We felt like we had known her a long time, we sat around and joked and talked about all kinds of things. She was also great with her follow up, she called me to see if I had found a place for my mom and if we needed anything else. Unfortunately they did not have any openings at the time that we were looking, but from what I saw on the tour it looked very nice. We really enjoyed the tour experience and conversation that we had with her.
We chose Atria Regency because the facility itself is incredibly nice and everybody there was very welcoming. The value for the money was definitely a draw as well and they accepted animals. The room sizes here are adequate. They have a lot of activities provided for the residents. Overall I would recommend to other families looking.

Overall it's been a great experience, especially for our loved one. I think communication needs to be up just a little bit. Which is probably not unusual. And that could be on our end as well. But our loved one likes knowing that she's safe, and if she needs anything, she can just call and get whatever she needs. Everybody has been extremely friendly to her, other residents as well as the staff. She just feels very safe, secure, comfortable, and she's very happy there.

We looked at 4 places total and Atria by far was a nicer facility for the money, great staff members who were very helpful and friendly, better nursing staff, and great food quality. My mom was in a 1 bedroom, it was perfect and plenty of room for her furniture. The kitchen was smaller but very adequate for the needs. The best part about this community is that it is very clean and organized. It looks more like a nice hotel rather than a nursing facility. I would absolutely recommend.

Very nice facility with spacious apartments and friendly staff. The sense of community is very evident. [Name removed] who provided the tour was a wealth of information with a warm bubbly personality that made you feel she really cared.

It's only been two weeks and it has been the most fantastic experience! I am confident that moving Dad to Atria was the right move. Since moving in, the community has had an extravagant mardi gras bash with food, bar, and other traditions that go with Mobile's celebration. The food is good, although my dad has complained a couple of times. He's been able to participate in some activities and encouraged to interact with other residents as well as potential residents which I thought was awesome. The staff is nice and caring and have really made this a very easy transition.
