Other than the food, we have been incredibly pleased with everything. My favorite part is the staff. They are friendly and responsive. They have been very helpful through all of the ups and down. The facility itself is gorgeous. Mom's only complaint is ever and always the food. It is quite terrible. The friendliness of the staff stands out over other places. They treat each resident (even the tough ones!) like family.... Read more

Like most facilities, the turn over in staff and low staff issues are there as well. There are some great staff members there.

I would recommend it. Of the facilities in our area, this one is the best value for the money. I picked it because it is a clean, updated facility, all on one level. They have suites with doors open to a courtyard. The staff is friendly and helpful. They allow residents to have meals in their room without charging for "room service". The staff has been very good to work with me on doing the very best for my brother's complicated condition.

This facility is the best in this area. It’s very clean & well organized. My mother was a patient there for almost one month & every single interaction with all staff levels was very attentive & pleasant.

Everything about Princeton Transitional Care community is a 5 except for the meals and dining service, but that is something they are working on. What our family likes the most about them is the genuine friendliness of the staff has been amazing, and we would recommend them to other families based on the experience so far.

We love Princeton! We have been incredibly pleased with the facility, the staff, and the move-in process. Mom's suite and the care she's receiving are exactly what she needs. We highly recommend Princeton. We picked this community, because of the value, staff, and overall atmosphere.

We picked this community, because of the cleanliness, it's an inviting atmosphere, friendly, and best value cost wise. The experience was very good, and I would recommend. They can improve on the food. It tends to be overcooked and just not good overall.

It was a hard transition for my family member because she's a very independent person. But he staff have made her feel very comfortable. They're very nice to her and kid around with her, and that interaction has been really healthy for her. She enjoys the food. I've been really impressed with them. They've done a really good job making her feel at home, included, and cared for.

Individually there are some really good people there. As a whole, I would not recommend them to anybody. I feel they were responsible for my dad’s death. My dad was immobile and they used 1 person to lift him to the rest room. They dropped him and that was the beginning of the end. Terrible situation. Also the food was very bad.

The nurses were hateful except for 2. All of my aunt's clothes winter and spring are missing except for about 20%. They give the excuse that the laundry is done at a different facility. They said they have a beauty shop and we can pay extra to have resident's hair done. I asked for appointments, finally got one after 2 months.

A Place for Mom has scored Princeton Transitional Care and Assisted Living 9.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
