The Courtyards at Johnson City - The Orchards are surrounded by the steep mountains and rolling hills of the Appalachians. This unique assisted living community offers an intimate, homelike environment where residents receive care from both a registered nurse and licensed practical nurses. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, The Orchards’ elegant amenities help residents relax while remaining social and active.
With no more than 18 rooms, the smaller size of the community contributes to more personalized care for each resident. Just like family, nurses and caregivers are able to develop close bonds with residents while learning about their needs and individual interests. Caregivers can assist residents with activities of daily living and help enable them to enjoy home-cooked meals, holiday celebrations, and interaction with friends.
The Orchards provides plenty of opportunity for fun and fitness with exercise programs, themed events, games, craft classes, and on-site worship services. The Orchards is also conveniently located near a number of fun attractions and recreation opportunities. The Tipton Haynes Historic Site takes visitors on a trip through the history of Northeast Tennessee, and Bristol Caverns opens up a series of underground cavities full of otherworldly rock formations and mineral deposits. The staff was friendly. Very willing to help me understand the process of assisted living. Unfortunately with Covid, I wouldn't go inside but the videos and pictures made the facility look beautiful!

My mother has lived at the community for several years now. The care today is above and beyond my expectations. They all show her so much love. She smiles even though she doesn't remember a lot of things. She loves the staff too. I am thankful for all of them.
