If we could give the overall rating a 3.5-4 we would. The interior/exterior is a 5 in terms of cleanliness., however the personal room upkeep is a 2. The staff are friendly even though management has some issues "keeping" good employees. They work hard for the residents. I give the meals a minus 1!! Loaded with sodium (unacceptable for assisted living). Horrible flavor, not even close to home cooked food. In fact, so bad, I drive 3 times a week to give them edible meals. My dad has lost 40 pounds since moving in. Completely due to the quality of the food sadly. I wish we got more for what we pay [removed] a month... Wow

This place was highly recommended to us. Going on tour of the place was fabulous and so many things promised. We put our dad there and he was able to walk, talk and pretty much care for himself. After 2 months, he was not able to walk, could barely speak, and had lost a lot of weight. He had bed sores, a very bad u.t.i., couldnt walk anymore and was only getting help to eat one meal a day. His roommate was stealing his personal belongings, and even got into my dads bed several times. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They tell you whatever you want to hear, but they dont follow through.

Underrated the quality of care low but love the care staff. They are severely overworked and probably underpaid. However, based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the community to other families

Our loved one has no experience with the activities. There are two staff members at Park Vista by Bonaventure seem to stand out. [name removed] and [name removed] do a great job. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Suffice to say my sister and I had major concerns with Park Vista. They had bed bug infestation in memory care and my dad was severely bitten and two separate occasions. We removed my dad from the facility. We reported Park Vista to the state for lack of care, concern ad health of the residence

DO NOT USE THIS AMATURE/UNTRAINED FACILITY! My mother-in-law was in memory care. She was not cared for. During an altercation with my mother-in-law, a staff member actually cut her skin leaving a 1" gash (we are talking torn skin). This alone demonstrates staff are untrained. My mother-in-law's hair look wet with grease, because she had not been bathed for many weeks. Her room was filthy, trash wasn't emptied, it took over a week for the facility to unclog a sink drain. Feces was on carpets, floor and shower. Urine stains were left on the floor and cleaned up easily. Staff spends most of their time in a central area and frequently yell at residents to go back to their rooms. This is one of many review posting I will be submitting. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!

I wouldn't recommend you place a loved one here or move here personally. The staff and community is inept in everyway, there isn't one thing I am satisfied with, not even a little. The staff communication with the family is horrible. There is no follow up phone calls, or they will miss appointments to the point the family will keep calling and until the family eventually gives up. My loved one overall doesn't care for the food. Only four meals have been enjoyable, others have been non-edible. There are no napkins or drinks and some meals only consist of a hot dog and canned corn. There has only been one key given to our loved one for their apartment. The staff have a master key; however, they don't know which master key operates which door for the individual apartments. If a resident were to use the pull cord for assistance the staff wouldn't be able to access the resident's room in a timely manner. The community has had months to try to fix this, and it still isn't resolved.

The community is very accommodating, and appropriate for dementia residents. They do have activities for the residents to choose from. The staff are quick to respond to any questions or concerns the family may have.

We chose Park Vista because of the location, the staff members, and they were very helpful with getting her in and they told us if we had any issues with finances down the road, we could transition to medicaid and they would help. The room sizes here seem adequate. I would definitely recommend.

I had some administrative issues with things not getting passed down to the right people. I was disappointed that I had done so much advanced planning to have everything set up before we got there. But when we arrived the room was not ready and it still had the previous residents' things in the room, none of her medications were set up. All the planning I did ahead of time was for nothing. They were not ready for her at all. The community looks nice and it is a good value.

My mother has been at park vista for 3 months. For the most part it is good. However we have been having to provide toilet paper has there is never any, her hair brushes and tooth brush, paste are often missing, her glasses broken. The food is mostly good but sometimes very difficult to eat and too much. She is in the memory care area of the facility. My mom says she is lonesome and is in bed sleeping a lot but that might be because she refuses to go to any of the activities park vista provides.

Over all its going well My mom has settled in pretty good. However she seems sad and is lonely. I know there are other folks in the facility she can visit with but she is in memory care and cant really carry on a conversation with them. My moms memory is not good either but she can still visit. Often when I come to visit she is in her room just sitting or asleep. It makes me very sad. She needs more interaction and something to do. For someone who has worked hard all her life then wind up just waiting to die is very disheartening. The food for the memory care folks is pretty awful.

My grandmother age 92 had falling and broke a few ribs . We needed a place for her to go while she was healing. The hospital recommend park vista assisted living. I was very reluctant because my family and I had moved her into [removed] and she hated it and ran away. My grandmother who had just lost her Husband a few months ago wanted nothing to do but die, and so depressed that she would hardly eat and sat in her rocking chair and stared at the wall most of the time, hardly speaking to any one. Since she has been at park vista my grandma has joined in activities, eating meals, and conversations within 3 days witch she never did at home. I just want to say God bless and thank you to Park Vista, [name removed] who has been most helpful in every way. You all are awesome. I'm telling you bring your loved ones there.

As my father's age, health, and dementia grew we looked for an assisted living facility that could meet his needs. Park Vista's Memory Care Unit in Port Orchard met all of our needs and they treated my father with compassion, patience, and professionalism. They took personal interest in caring for my father and ensured his clothing and room were clean. I recommend park Vista's Memory Care Unit.

As my father's health and dementia grew worse we looked for a facility that would provide him with the level of care he required and we found that at Park Vista's Memory Care Unit in Pot Orchard. The team at Park Vista Memory Unit took good care of my father. They showed compassion, patience, and kept him healthy. I appreciated the personal care they provided and their willingness to work closely with our family.
