It was a smaller and friendly community. They need to do better with the care services. They were often understaffed, and could use more help, and/ or supervision.

The cost is more affordable for memory care. However, after only a few months they raised the monthly rate significantly.....not happy about it. The staff is good but does not check up on the patients enough. Weekends seem understaffed. Food selection and quality is slightly below average. Housekeeping is very good.

Very sad, They lie to residents family members it's ran more like a prison. No activity's like they tell you except exercise and wii bowling and bingo. Nothing in the evening the kitchen goes on lock at 7pm and everything is locked up even the milk your not aloud to have different meal items sent to your room unless you go to the dining room to eat. No choice there. Housekeeping barely does anything. Residents who can't be alone in there rooms basically sit in the lobby and stare at each other or our windows. No TV is aloud due to corporate saying no they have rooms for that. We can't even have plants cuz it's against corporate to have them out. It's plain and unhappiness in here. They tell you they do all these things for one thing money and it's sickening.

Paramount Middleburg Heights is a beautiful community. We initially had a big mix up with them but after speaking with corporate we got it all sorted out. We know people at this facility and they have had nothing but good things to say about their experience. This was our second choice and if anything happens and we need to move our loved one, this will be where we place her.
We've experienced very good response times to the call buttons. The staff listen to us and take time with the family as well as with my mother. It's just been a very warm and inviting environment there. And it's all on one floor, which is great.

Paramount Senior Living provided top notch services! as far as activities, there were a lot of crafts my loved one took part in. although she only stayed for about 2 months, we found that the move in and move out process went fine. they offer offsite transportation to appointments and grocery stores for a fee. they also have a doctor and rehabilitation on site and it's a secure community. I would recommend Paramount to others.

What has really stood out to us is the staff's willingness to help not only the families but the residents. They are also very attentive and being out of state their communication skills are great.

We chose Paramount Senior Living because they are the most convenient to our house, the price was comparable, and the room was good and had plenty of storage space and a bathroom/shower in the room. The staff have been very accommodating and friendly. I am happy with our choice and would recommend to others looking.

Paramount is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They have a ton of activities provided, my mom has been very happy with that. She really likes the coffee, I have had it and it is amazing. She goes back and forth on the food but from what I have seen it looks great. I would tell others to call [name removed], she is amazing at what she does. Make sure to take a tour, they have a ton provided. The location is great, they have outdoor seating areas where residents can sit. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We chose Paramount Senior Living because I liked the facility itself and it was very convenient for us. He had a 2 bedroom efficiency studio and it was nice. The menu looked good and the food smelled good and I know they were chef prepared meals. The staff were all super considerate and helpful. I would recommend to others looking. I would highly recommend to others looking and already have.

we virtually toured this community and the tour was very informative.
While our loved one was there, the nursing attendants were very good with helping out our loved one with his showers, and they constantly checked on him. The people were very friendly especially the young lady at the front desk she was very friendly to our loved one. He thought the meals there were wonderful and the community was very well maintained during his stay.

We chose Paramount because the facility itself, the location, value of the money and the compassion of the staff members. It is a smaller facility as well which is nice. It is surrounded by a park so it is very beautiful scenery. They have a screened in porch where residents can sit outside. I would recommend to anybody who is looking.

I was impressed with the professionalism with the staff and the genuine concern of the residents there during my visit and tour. This is a community I feel will take care of your loved ones this is the reason I have decided to have my Mother and Stepfather enter the aCommunity. One thing to note there are no fountains and frills in the entrance lobby they make up for the frills with genuine care. There is a courtyard for the residents to enjoy the outdoors and plant there own small gardens or flowers. There is a chef on staff who makes fresh food for all meals for the residents. The residents are served there meals and not a cafeteria style tray actual menu food. I feel that anyone's loved ones will be served with the utmost respect and caring atmosphere. Kind regards [name removed]

Since Paramount took over the care is not at all what it used to be. We took my mom out 2 months after they took over. DO NOT go to that place.

Paramount took over this facility in [date removed]. It has been all down hill since then. We just removed our family member. Always short staffed, family member has used their call button on several occasions for over 2 hours with no response and ended up having to get on their mobile device to go look for someone to help. The new owners switched from a quality incontinence brief to a poor quality one that constantly leaked. The food has gone from bad to worse. Lots of dried turkey sandwiches, undercooked , bland fish and leftover soup. ( everything left over thrown into pot and called soup). If my family member never sees another serving of stewed squash, it will be too soon. In departing this facility we have wrestled with getting our relatives medications transferred to the new facility and bottom line, our relative will be without important medications until the new facility can get access. Some of the administration tried to work with us but it sounds like their hands are tied by the new owners.

New owners took over in fall and promised great improvements. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Food is mediocre at best. Response to residents call takes at least 15 mins. or longer. No response from new owner when complaints were made.

Met with [name removed]. She was very kind and asked questions about my mom that showed she was concerned about her as a person. Her approach was to “honor how she lived” when she was at home. To let routines and habits that don’t interfere with the staff responsibilities remain a part of her new life. This is a one floor community of about 65 or so residents. It’s located closer to my sister but only about 15 minutes for me taking 480 to 71 and getting off at Bagley Road. This facility is next to Big Creek Parkway and that section of the Metroparks. I think mom would do better on a smaller campus like this because she could get to know more people and be known by them. The layout would promote mom taking walks outside her room without feeling overwhelmed or fearful of getting lost. The halls are wide and they have benches and chairs throughout where she could sit and rest if needed. Staff would always be nearby to escort her back to her room in a wheelchair if she felt to weak to continue. Activities like chair dancing, common rooms to watch TV shows, a room with a baby grand where live music is regularly scheduled. They have a salon where mom could get manicures, pedicures and hair cuts regularly. There is no assigned seating for meals. The menu is flexible and she could stash some of her favorite health snacks in her room. The refrigerator, TV, wireless connection and phone are included in the cost of the room. She could bring her own microwave and coffee pot. The counter space is small but she could still lay out a fresh fruit basket somewhere that we could stock for her.

God, I wish I could afford this place, not that it is unreasonable. It would be perfect for my father and staff is phenomenal. Just out of budget.
