Oakmont Parkway

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The facility was very well maintained. Lots of activities were provided. The food was delicious and there were many options. They made your bed everyday, emptied the trash and provided laundry service. Everything was fabulous.

My mother just started her search for senior living. [name removed]gave us a tour of the community. The community is so clean and everyone was so friendly. [name removed] gave us so much information and took the time to answer our questions. We were on a time crunch but she even gave mom some meal tickets to come back to enjoy a meal. My mom isn’t ready quite yet but when she is we will be choosing parkway.

I moved my father here about a month ago and I could not be happier. The staff is so welcoming. They have wonderful amenities and the food is also very good! The second you walk into parkway you can feel the family atmosphere. Would recommend this place over and over again!

This facility was very nice and clean. The Care team was contracted/outside hired company and they seemed less personal. Communication with the family wasn't good, especially when we went out of town. We asked to be kept up to date and they agreed, but there was no follow through. Every place has their issues and I know that. Overall, this one was pretty good all things considered. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I think its a great place. My loved one loves it. They are cleaning constantly, its very well decorated. The staff is friendly. I would highly recommend it. Family is not allowed to dine with residents still due to covid. Hopefully that ends soon as the pandemic seems to be ending. If you want to eat with your loved one, you had to take the food to your loved one's room. Any help your loved one needs is a charge added to the bill. This is not assisted living. They charge for taking the resident to the dining room, help to shower, etc.

The care services are really good and the staff are very impressive. My loved one really likes the meals and they have a lot of activities where people come in and, games and outings to local stores and more for the residents to do.

Beautiful place, very friendly staff and residents all very welcoming. Beautiful comfortable common areas. Their events calendar is fabulous. Beautiful peaceful chapel, feels like a church. This place has a good vibe.

Beautiful place Bathroom small. No bench to sit in in shower. Shower door doesn’t make shower very accessible. Disappointed that no patios on the rooms. Very clean and well kept

The Oakmont Parkway facility has been a great experience so far. We love it there, our loved one loves it there and is happy. Our only issues with with the outside care services they hire not doing their job. The community is great, but the outside care we are having issues with

We moved my loved one out of here due to our loved one contracting COVID, and had other medical issues during their stay. The food was good and my loved one enjoyed the food here. Prior to the pandemic they had activities available for the residents several times a week. The other residents were friendly. I wasn't impressed with the medical staff at all.

Oakmont Parkway is very clean the staff is friendly and considerate. The food is good. The rooms sizes and layout of community is good. They have a beautiful covered porch for the residents and their family to enjoy.

A very nice place, but not what my mom was looking for. All the staff knew the residents names and were all very pleasant and friendly to everyone.

[Name removed] was very nice and answered all our questions. Place was clean and the apartments were nice. This is in the running. Also visited [removed]. [Name removed] was great to talk to and also answered all our questions.

This was a beautiful facility with very nice staff and friendly residents. My mother was very taken with this place after the tour and decided that she would like to move in here. We put a deposit down immediately.

We are so very happy with Oakmont Parkway. The staff is so kind, as are the residents. Lovely facility, overall great place to live!

Well taken care of building and grounds. Staff is always friendly. My grandma enjoys it here very much!

We really don’t have anything to compare to, as this is the only place she has lived. Probably the only thing lacking is activities on the weekend. My mom reports being kind of bored on the weeekends because many people leave and there isn’t much going on for her.

An Update from my 1st review 2014. My mother and Aunt lived at Oakmont from 10/2012 to 6/2016 and I found the facitly to go "downhill" over that time period. While the facilities are still very nice and most of the employees are wonderful the overall mangagement has gone way down. It seems like they are replacing the best employees ([Removed] the manager and most recently [Removed] the activity director) with people who are not nearly as good. [Removed] knew every resident by name and was wonderful; I doubt the person who replaced her could name half the residents; she seems very cold. When I recently went back to visit someone who still lives there I was told [Removed] was fired. They have also changed Medical services there 3x in the past 3 years. Looks like they are now more concerned with money than the residents.

My mother and Aunt have lived in Oakmont for 18 mos and I can't say enough good things about the place. All of the employees are so friendly and know all the residents by name. The place is spotless and the activity director (Mary) is the best. The food is also great.
