I think Mission Palms gives my loved one good care with great progress. Now she is doing really good. Their rehab therapy is excellent! The staff is great and they are very patient and good to my mother. They are all really good. The gal at the desk is a little snippy where you go to make the appointments for their hair on the Oasis side. The business office desk has been great. They are all friendly. The nurses are great. It is very clean and sometimes there is a smell. They cannot help it. It is better. They never called me after my mom had an incident. Hospice called to tell me what happened.

Palms of Mesa does not have handrails. There wasn't any rehab therapy at all. The staff was pretty good. Some of the staff was friendly, but the others did not know how to cope. My social worker would give me the wrong information, and I would have to hound her for the right answers to my questions. There was only one good nurse. The other nurses would walk out when confronted with an issue, but that one nurse made it all okay. The meals were okay.

The aides and nurses were great. The rehab therapy services were good. The cleaning people are wonderful and they even cleaned my room every day. The nurses and aides I thought were good. I only saw the doctor twice and that was it.

It was very nice. The physical therapist was really good. Everyone I met was really nice and helpful. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. It was really clean and I was rather surprised how clean it was kept. The communication was very good. They had a place for me to leave my name and number so they could contact me was going on.

The nurses' are professional and take good care of me. I am not getting updates and my daughter is not getting updates either. I've hardly received any communication with the Doctor. Everything is good except for the dining experience.

There is one employee that always bubbles and smiles when I see her. It is clean. My loved one says they serve a lot of scrambled eggs and the food was horrible. They meats are tough and the vegetables are served al dente. I feel like they should give you other choices.

I think it's great. I couldn't believe how nice the people have been to me. It could not be been any better. The staff has been unbelievably sweet to me. I have never been anywhere better. There were some really great CNA's that have helped me. The doctor sees me nearly every day. If I have questions everyone tries to get me an answer. If you can't be at home, this is the best place to be.

The people were pretty caring and helpful. The CNA's are outgoing and friendly. They go out of their way to listen to me. The arrival times of the meals were not consistent. At best the food was warm but it was kind of bland food. The communication was fine.

They were communicating throughout and very polite and professional. The CNAs and everybody else was all smiles and are always friendly. One of the therapists are very caring and takes her patients personally. From what I could tell the meals were fine and they served plenty of food!

They are always cleaning his room. The office staff is very friendly. The aides have been helping but not friendly. The meals are okay but they serve an awful lot of carrots. He does not like the meals. When my loved one got sick the aides told him that he should have called me to inform me. My loved one does not get showers regularly. He is not a happy camper and he is worse now than when he went in. His patience is very thin right now. The aides don't help him when he needs to use the bathroom.

My loved one has no way to communicate with her family. I don't think my loved one is getting enough therapy which is the whole point of her being there. They do not let her out of her room and she lays in bed all day looking at the ceiling.

It was a very comfortable place with very nice people. The therapists were nice. The staff were all doing their job. It was really all fine. The nurses were nice and tried their best to do their job. The meals my loved one didn't enjoy them all of the time, but I was eating with him and it was pretty decent. Communication was pretty good. There were so many different doctors and different times. The communication with the doctor was always odd, because we didn't know when he was coming. I would have liked to prepare myself for him.

A Place for Mom has scored Mission Palms of Mesa 2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
