My apartment is wonderful and more spacious than those at other independent living facilities. There are many activitiesI. I can do them or not. There is good entertainment too. The front person is so kind and good at what she does. and the driver will take you places like doctor appts. and is a nice guy. I enjoy meals with people. The meals are not good many days and there needs to be improvement. And they need a variety of veges, not just corn and carrots. I am still so pleased l to be living here!... Read more

My mom and I toured and Madison is a beautiful place. Pricing is good for the amenities you get. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I felt like I was already at home. Staff was attentive and everything was explained thoroughly by the Sales rep.

Moving in was A breeze maintenance was perfect. Staff was perfect. They have plenty of activities for everyone to join in people who live there are somewhat friendly. They want to engage and have future friends. The only thing is food is a big issue. The food is bland sometimes cold other times chewy, nothing taste the way it’s supposed to .

Overall, it's nice. My mother is very happy, settled in, has met many people. She is happy and that is most important. Having your parent happy is the most important value a retirement community can achieve.

Five out of five on everything, except a four for meals. I chose this community based on price, it was a main factor for me.

We're no longer in the community. My FIL passed away in February. We liked the piano/library room, spacious rooms, and the flexibility of bus runs to doctor appointments Based on the experience we did have, we would recommend this community to other families.

I am currently a resident at Madison Estates and my experience here at this facility has been great so far. My friend is also a resident here. She said that she slept for over a month after moving here and before getting out because she felt safe for the first time in months.

My loved ones are currently residents at Madison Estates and overall the experience at this facility has been terrible. I will say, the food and the activities are good. However, based on our experience, I would not recommend this facility to others.

I would not recommend the facility. The staff and residents were very nice, but that is the only positive thing I have to say. The group that have the monetary decisions are are not forthcoming. Unless they have made huge advancements to invest in Madison Estates, I would not recommend it. They had three different chefs while I was there, but it wasn't the chefs that should have been replaced but better quality of food.

Maintenance needs to be improved. Staff for room cleaning needs improvement. Value for the money is excellent. Rent for a veteran is great.

I find the staff attentive to problems and generally very patient and nice As far as activities go, I think they're doing a good job The food is ok, and frankly I wouldn't expect it to be exceptional, but maybe just not overcooking entrées would help a bit. I know it's difficult finding qualified staff in the hospitality industry I really like Madison, great environment, kept very clean, and it's very quiet and peaceful. Close proximity to hospital is great Clean halls, utility rooms and elevators is important to me and very neat grounds, properly groomed--available dog feces bags are really appreciated. The mail service is efficient and the whole facility, as far as I've experienced, is very neatly kept. Very much appreciated

The Maddison is a clean, and nice place to live. However, not everyone wants to eat in the cafeteria with a lot of people. My loved one likes to eat and watch TV. They are adding $[removed]per month to your already $[removed]. I'm very unhappy about that.

I would highly recommend. The community is like a cruise ship on land. Has all necessary services in one community. We picked this community because, we liked what we saw, and the manager was very well versed.

This is not the newest community in the city, but the residents seem quite content here. During our tour, several residents came up to my mother and started up a conversation, offering how long they have lived at the community and how happy they are. Wow! It was nice to see my mother actually engaging in conversation with others like she used to before my father passed. The lady who toured us was super sweet. She showed us the one-bedroom apartment with the yard perfect for her small dog. My mother is looking forward to moving here. I think it will be a great experience!

A Place for Mom has scored Madison Estates 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
