The admission process for my sister was handled with kindness, understanding and very professionally. The director of admissions was readily available to answer all of our concerns/questions for guiding my sister and the family through the transition. The move into the facility for my sister was very smooth. When I visited the facilty the staff, was attentive, it was very clean and the dinning area was very pleasant with views of the ocean.

A clean, modern and well equipped facility, located in beautiful Long Beach, L.I., The staff is professional and caring, helping to ensure a safe and nurturing environment to residents who require assistance with personal life challenges, but who at the same time appreciate a climate of dignity and personal freedom in their daily lives. Beautiful spacious infrastructure, on-site medical/therapy resources and delicious Kosher food help to make this a reality for those residents lucky enough to call LBAL their home.

I have been very pleased with Long Beach Assisted Living, both with the quality of care and the setting of the facility. My mom had adapted quite nicely.

This is my family's first experience with assisted living. The entire staff from maintenance to administration are very helpful and more important understanding. Any requests are handled and attended to as soon as possible. Surroundings are comfortable and kept clean. Food could be a little more appetizing, but kitchen staff try their best to accommodate. Perhaps more activities such as bingo and tabletop horseracing could be very entertainmenting... Maybe hair and nail salon services could be offered at residents expenses All in all 4 1/2 star rating is given to Long Beach Assisted Living....

A Place for Mom has scored Long Beach Assisted Living 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
