Lakewood Park Manor

They need a better staff hiring practice, and more staff. I am not happy with the place. They require 24 hour notice for visits and you can only visit for 30 mins. The rooms are dirty. The staff can be rude at times. The social worker won't return calls unless it's about money. My loved one is left in bed all day and there isn't much supervision.

Ever since my mother moved to Lakewood Park Manor, her spirit has really come to life. Dad died a year ago and she needed to make the transition to assisted living. We’re so glad she found a new home at Lakewood Park Manor.

I am a resident here and I have to say, BINGO is a big thing here! Everyone loves bingo and everyone enjoys it along with entertainment and prizes. Great staff here and activities are enjoyable. They also have a fitness room here as well, very nice

I am currently a resident here. And at first it was hard for me coming here but when I gave it a try, I am enjoying being here. Residents and staff are great here. The services are good too. Thank you Lakewood Park Manor for making me feel welcome.

I booked a tour at Lakewood Park Manor and really felt this was my new home. The staff was nice, friendly & attentive to all guest, visitor and most importantly their residents. The rooms are nice, spacious & clean. A pro this location is the shopping center right across the street which makes it convenient for me to purchase toiletry items.

I am a resident here, I recommend joining for bingo here. Its absolutely fun and everyone enjoys it.

The place is well kept up, always clean. The food is ok, they have alternative menu. Residents are nice and so as the staff. Activities are a major go, always great entertainment

I had a tour earlier today. When I walked in, the front desk greeted me and my dad. The young lady assisted me with the tour. The place is clean and nicely maintain. We were able to see residents in middle of playing bingo and we were able to see a resident using their gym which was a major plus for us. We also noticed they have a beauty salon and a beautiful dining room as well. So far we are very interested and looking forward to the next step.

The pictures on here are outdated. I visited the community and the place is more updated and they also renovated their place. My uncle loves it here, a lot of fun activities throughout the day and the staff are friendly and helpful.

At Lakewood Park Manor you have caregivers who have experience and know what they’re doing. Even with this pandemic they have found a way to have carnivals with 6 feet apart and have made sure their residents have entertainment and fun!

They treated my mother so well while she was there. She’s since passed, but she loved Lakewood. Some of the attendants came to her wake and funeral. That was quite touching.

The community at Lakewood Park Manor is something to behold. Not a lot of senior living facilities have a community like this. You can tell the folks here really like each other. My mother-in-law fits in so well here. She’s a saint!

I love it when my family comes to visit. The attendants do so much to make the visit warm and welcoming. I really appreciate this. From me, Lakewood gets five stars.

I can’t believe we didn’t find Lakewood Park Manor sooner. For months, we were looking for assisted living facilities, as our dad needed to go in one. Lakewood is truly first-rate. Dad loves it here. We couldn’t be happier.

My children and I decided it’d be best for me to go into assisted living. I did and I absolutely love it. Lakewood Park Manor is second to none. I’m 82 and I plan to celebrate my 90th birthday here

My mother has been here for a few months. She has never complained once. She’s in a cozy room and there are plenty of activities. The grounds are nice and the location is ideal. I’m very pleased and so is she.

You won’t be disappointed by Lakewood Park Manor. I’ve been here six years. Things keep getting better. The folks here really take care of you. I value that!

I went to visit my grandmother a couple weeks ago. She’s a resident at Lakewood and she loves it. She has so many friends there and the attendants are so nice. I love coming to see her!

My husband are very impressed with Lakewood Park Manor. Their caring and compassionate staff was there to assist with all her needs from the beginning of the admission process. We toured several communities in Downey however, Lakewood Park Manor just felt like home for mom.

I meant to leave a review for a long time. I'm not one who does these type of reviews and etc. I felt I should share the experience. My grandma and my mom both lives here. Grandma have been there close to 4 years and my mom has just recently moved in maybe close to 7 months. If I was so unhappy here, why would in the world I would bring in another love one here. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The very first time my mom and I came to tour was for my Grandma. My mom and I were trying to help to my grandma out of the car. One of the worker saw us, she stopped to ask us if we needed help. She noticed both grandma and mom have a hard time standing and walking. She told us to wait by the car while she brings assistances. She returned back shortly with 1 other worker plus 2 wheelchairs. They offered to assist us. To me... just the small helpful kind gesture did it for us. They made my grandma felt very welcome and comfortable. She was very nervous with the changes from living at home to living at an assisted living. She is very happy here and so as mom.
