Palmcrest Grand Retirement

They are upgrading the lobby of the facility nicely. The staff does rotate a lot but that's probably to be expected for a 24/7 facility. They do have activities for the residents which my mom comments she enjoys. They also generally seem easy to get a hold of.

It seems like they treat the residents well and it's nice and clean but sometimes some caretakers don't come soon when they are called also the food It is not good enough it is too greasy and no taste

I would recommend it overall, either assisted living or memory care. I would share how the staff has guided through the terrible state of healthcare in this country and seeing to the demands my father makes.I took a tour, and I found no fault with the facilities.

They provided helpful guidance through the American healthcare maze, seeing to it that my father, just moved from out of state received a checkup at a hospital, and was able to see a doctor. They were quite accommodating of my father's wants and needs.

My mother's partner "[name removed]" was transferred from another facility...after a fall. He was assessed at that facility by a woman from Palmcrest who approved him for transfer. She physically saw him, reviewed his condition, spoke with him, and yet overlooked the neon yellow bracelet that says “FALL RISK”. [name removed] was medically transporte transported to Palmcrest (Paid for out of pocket) around [date removed]. By 3:00 that same day we were told he would not be allowed to stay and he would need to be out of the facility that night. The lead administrator told us that the owner would not allow for him to stay as a resident because he is a fall risk... that was in his file from the beginning. After hours of tears and phone calls the decision was made to take him home. To a two story house. In my car. No one even offered to help with arranging transport. Every medical professional we have spoken to about his treatment have been appalled and voiced disgust at the utter failures of Palmcrest.

Warm welcome when you come in. Everyone is so friendly. This place has a great setup for our love one won’t be bored. Lots of activities for them to be involved with throughout the day. Movies, workouts. Games. They have your loves ones laughing with all the fun times. And very clean. Please come by and check this wonderful place out for your loves.

My loved one is currently a resident at Palmcrest Grand Retirement. I would recommend the facility, but they are probably a 3 on general communication with the family. If something is important, they communicate it immediately. Otherwise, you need to be a bit more proactive. Whenever we have asked questions, we have gotten answers quickly and the staff has always been very helpful.

Very happy with my tour experience. [name removed] was helpful and Knowledgeable. The residence was cozy and seemed like everyone genuinely enjoys living there. My husband and I would feel comfortable having my FIL living here.

I would strongly recommend this facility for the friendliness and availability of the staff. The housekeeping is very good and consistent in their role and respond rapidly to any issues and needs of the residents. The food is good, but obviously not always the best. It's edible. There are numerous activities and interaction with other residents, which makes it a pleasant experience. But overall, the good service, friendliness and accommodating staff supersedes any minor flaw!

The staff was wonderful and my mother and us had the best experience. I have recommended the place to a friend and a relative. I usually do not make recommendations but I was very impressed on how they managed my mother's care and how they expressed their compassion until the last day. My observation was that all the residents are vey pleased and their well adjusted living conditions promote a very good experience for the new residents and relatives.

Everyone at Palmcrest is amazing and has gone above and beyond to help my mother. She moved in right before a knee-replacement surgery and upon learning that her last residence did not actually make important pre-op appointments, they jumped in and did everything possible for my mother to keep her original surgery date. Palmcrest is clean and pleasant and my mother says it feels more like a resort than an assisted living. She is also a very picky eater, but likes the food a lot there. It's still early and she is adapting, but I am very happy with her treatment there so far.

We fell in love with the Facility the minute we walked in. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and order , and the friendly atmosphere. I felt very welcomed and respected. Fell in love with the facility and Staff.

Two sisters, not just one sister currently reside at Palmcrest Grand. Our initial contact was [name removed] who was lovely and helpful on the phone but even more so on our visit. She took her time on our tour and showed us the facilities with such pride and enthusiasm. My sister was genuinely excited about making the transition from a skilled nursing facility and [name removed] was instrumental in navigating the process. A month later our other sister moved in and now they are roommates. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Our sisters are thriving and although they both benefit from the assistance part of the facility, they are more independent and happy being at Palmcrest Grand.

[name removed] was a terrific help getting my sisters admitted. Everyone is so friendly and kind. They really care about the residents. Nice outdoor space. Activities encourage a sense of community for the residents.

Palmcrest Grand is great! Professional, friendly, responsive management team and staff. Property is very well maintained and cleanly. Wonderful group of residents and super fun activities. Central location to everything you might meet. As a resident I highly recommend.

Had a wonderful experience with [name removed] and her tour she was knowledgeable and friendly she made my mother feel right at home. She noticed all the activities and was greeted with friendly caregivers and residents.

They care about the people who live there and from what I have seen conduct themselves in a professional manner. Our family is glad that we found this place, how they go about looking after our mother is a blessing.
