This was a good community. It was too far from family. The fees were more than we wanted to spend.
This is a great place to live. Everyone is friendly. The food is wonderful and all the staff are wonderful to work with. I've had wonderful experiences during my short stay so far. There is a full kitchen in the apartment. There is housekeeping that is provided once a week that is included once a week.

They are very caring at this community and they really try to accommodate the needs of the residents moving in. It feels like you are in a Victorian home. There is a lot of light and the staff and everyone is really caring. They go out of the way to help people and accommodate. We are working with them right now on the food because my parents are used to really healthy food and they are working on this.

Our loved one and other residents do think the meals are very mediocre, but the activities are starting to come back. We looked at a bunch of other places and this community by far has the best value. We have been very pleased with Kensington Park so far.

We liked this community a lot. The community was very active and well kept. The pricing was a little high for us.
We chose Kensington park because my sister has early onset Alzheimers and they were able to engage her as a staff member. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would recommend.

Enjoyed seeing this place, but I have reviewed the required funding that would/could be needed for the care of my husband and know that I can in no way afford for both of us to live there.

There was never any bad odor and the community is always pristine and they have done a good job with keeping everything sanitary during the Covid-19 pandemic. They do seem to treat the staff very well and there is very little turnover. The staff is all very warm and affectionate and know all the residents personally. They do seem to be very good with communication and have done a good job keeping the residents protected. During the community lock down, they have tried really hard to keep the residents engaged, but it has been difficult to do so since they are asked to remain in their rooms. Previous to the pandemic, they did have a lot of activities available and even brought in outside entertainment. Although very expensive, we do think Kensington Park is a good value for the price, especially compared to some of the other communities we visited.

Great facilities (clean, personalized designs/layouts, really beautiful). Lovely residents too. Smiles were there. Pricing high for our family, but it may work (for my mom). Well presented info, friendly staff, very good tour; location a bit farther out for me as a visitor. Excellent professionalism throughout. Downside: Visitor parking seemed quite limited when I went on a weekday and mid-afternoon. Would love this place if mom can afford it.

I just swapped emails and had a long conversation w/this group and this pricing is way off. I was told for a SHARED room (one is 99 square feet, the other approx 140)..they share a shower but not toilets, the price is 7750/ month. I find that a bit outrageous...regardless of services provided.

Beautiful facility. Lovely location, not too far from [Removed]. Wealth of information. I like the fact of not too many residents and the care available. Did not have a chance to visit with many residents over a meal, etc.

My sister and I really liked this community and the staff did a really great job showing us around, they took their time and they answered all our question. We thought that our mother would have done well here. They had a lot of great amenities for their residents to choose from, the rooms were very nice but there was a waiting list. I would definitely recommend scheduling a tour here.

We really liked Kensington Park Senior Living. It was a very nice place and the person that took us around was very friendly. It smelled a lot nicer than the place my loved one was at before as well. It was a good experience to tour.

I was impressed by Kensington Park as soon as I opened the door. Both staff and residents were smiling and talking, a piano was playing in the background, and light was streaming in the sunroom. I ended up choosing Kensington Park assisted iiving for my husband and continue to be impressed by the quality of care, the friendly staff and the delicious meals. My husband is not given to superlatives, but on his second day pronounced the place amazing!

I toured this community and the staff was great on answering the questions we had for the care that is given. The community I found to be clean and I enjoyed this community. Families should tour for the care of a loved one.

Absolutely loved this facility. [Removed] was very detailed and informative. the facility is beautiful, clean and the staff seems very caring. The only draw-back here is that it is a little higher cost but I believe for a more personalized care.

I saw a lot of places before I went to Kensington Park, but I clearly saved the best for last. The place is extraordinary all around. It's so hard to move a parent out of their home of 50 years; for me it was doubly daunting, because I live overseas, and I wanted to be able to leave my mother (who has Alzheimers) in a place where I knew she would be safe; would be cared for with dignity and kindness; where there would be targeted continuity of care for her in her Alzheimers journey; the food was good; and where there were activities that would keep her engaged and stimulated. Kensington Park is absolutely amazing in all of the above. I am continually impressed with how genuinely kind and caring all staff are, from the people who clean rooms and serve meals up to the top management. They understand dementia & treat my mother with dignity, respect, and great patience. Everything is spotless, warm and welcoming. The rooms are peaceful, spacious & soundproof. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The activities are wonderful, and each house has specific activities targeted to engage the abilities of those in that house (e.g. Independent living, Assisted living, and Advanced Dementia). I cannot recommend KP highly enough! It stands head and shoulders above every other place I visited. At least go for a visit; you'll see right away why I chose it for my beloved mother. Thank you, Places for Mom, for helping me find it.

A Place for Mom has scored Kensington Park Senior Living 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
