They keep the facilities very clean and well kept up. I give the care services that grade because I believe they are understaffed. My mom feels the food has greatly improved and there is good variety. My mom likes the activities. Unfortunately, the cost went up when Inspirations took over. Inspiration By The Bay is a great assisted Living location. I highly recommend them as long as your Loved One just needs a little assistance. Activities are Great and so is Staff that runs facility. My sister needs way more care than just assistance. I thought eventually she would be able to do more for herself which has not happened. Aides have many jobs and her diaper doesn’t get changed regularly. As I said if you need just a little assistance this is definitely the Place. My Sister loves the meals.

My loved one was very unhappy there and constantly begged me to take her home. I didn't feel she was safe, so I moved her. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. The staff were nice but the care was bad. I moved mom to a new facility and she is doing great. She is clean. Her room is clean, her items never come up missing and she is very happy.

Very satisfied with Inspirations Bayside. We are impressed with the level of care and variety of activities. The staff work hard to engage the residents in all activities. Our loved one is happy there.

We moved my mom into Inspirations Bayside in December. There was quite an adjustment, for my brother and I, more than probably for my mom. The facility had recently changed ownership and you can see that they have been upgrading a few things which is nice. The meals have been okay. It seems like the longer my mother has been there the more aware the staff are that she needs help with cutting her food due to being visually impaired. Her room is nice and is overall well-maintained, although we did find a pile of dirty Kleenex under her bed which suggests that they don't necessarily clean under the bed. We have our laundry done at the facility and I like that they do each residents laundry separately so we have had minimal issues with disappearing linens and clothes. Our biggest concern has always been the response to her call button. My mom sometimes need needs assistance in the bathroom and they don't always respond in a timely fashion to her call. The thing to keep in mind is the helper to resident ratio. This is a reasonably priced facility, but the ratio is not as good as some of the higher priced facilities.

Putting a loved one into assisted care must be one of the most heartbreaking experiences possible especially if they have dementia and are not able to understand what’s happening or why. I picked Inspirations Bayside for its bright open atmosphere, friendly engaging staff and straightforward billing practices. It stood out from others I visited. Though it’s been a difficult process for my husband over the past four months, the care has been consistent and reliable. Caretakers seem capable of calling up patience even under trying circumstances. They have been innovative in supporting him in the physical, emotional and social challenges of leaving Home. They take notice of changes in him and keep me informed. Flexible visitation policy makes it easy to drop by. I’m beginning to relax and trust that I can rely on the people caring for him.

I toured this community and it was good!
this was an awful experience for my mom. the food was terrible and there were no choices for healthy eating. no activities at all. it was clean but smelled all the time. the floor nurses were mean and sat around all the time. the office staff didn't return calls and didn't seem to care about the residents at all. we moved her to [community removed] and she is much happier now

This was our 2nd choice, and really liked the community.
We chose Woodlands at the time because after speaking to a lot of people, we found out that no matter how much money you pay, you will get the same care. Also the convenient location played a factor for us so that she can be close. They tell me they have a chef on site cooking gourmet meals, but after seeing the meals they are not truly chef prepared. She has foods she is not able to eat and they continue to feed her these things. Whenever I speak to the director she is not able to give me straight answers on things. I think that she needs to be more involved in things that are going on. There has been a lack of communication and understanding and I feel they do not truly care about the residents, it is more about filling the beds. I do not feel that the value for the money is there for the amount of care she is receiving. If your loved one is going into any facility, you need to make sure you are an advocate for them.

I've not experienced a whole lot yet with Covid restrictions. I've found that sometimes when I leave a message, it takes a while for someone to get back to me. I get the feeling they're short-staffed. The person who helped us get moved in was extremely helpful, but he has since left for a different position. And since then, it's been difficult to get ahold of someone. But they're very friendly and accommodating. They've been especially accommodating when it comes to visiting my loved one with my busy schedule, and that's been very helpful. The people I've interacted with are awesome. I hear form the staff that my loved one joins in all the activities and is the life of the party. With her dementia she often doesn't remember, but the staff do a good job keeping me up to date with what she's doing. All senior care is an investment, but they're on par with other places. And I know my loved one is safe. That's the most important thing to me.

We chose Woodlands Assisted Living because it was easily accessible to our family, their price point was within our range, and I was very impressed when we went for our visit with the staff and the coordinator that we worked with. The room sizes here are sufficient, they do have various room sizes based on what your loved one needs. I never ate here personally, but my dad was pleased with everything he was served. The best part about this community would be the caring and friendliness of all of the staff members. I would absolutely recommend.

Mom loves The Woodlands. It's a smaller, quaint place. Mom definitely didn't want to go to a massive place. The staff truly cares about the residents and Mom has really enjoyed the social activities they have.

Medical staff did not know how to hook up oxygen tanks and my spouse ended up in the hospital two times. Complaints to the management and nursing staff on numerous occasions went unresolved. Upon release from the hospital the second time Woodlands nurse violated the contract by refusing to let her return to the facility on a Friday. The contract required a thirty day notice and another evaluation. I had planned to move her to another facility but needed time to find a new facility. Medical staff worthless. Management not responsive and supports the worthless medical staff. Read any contract carefully. Understand all the fees before you sign and read reviews before making a decision.
