Food got a 3 because their food went down hill over the last few months. Otherwise the staff and facilities were great. Mom passed unexpectedly [date removed], but was quite happy where she was living for the last 10 months of her life. 95 years old and living on her own with the help of Howard village staff and many good friends she made there that were very sad to see her go. I would recommend Howard Village to others looking.

I’ve lived at Howard Village for quite some time. It’s a nice place, tenants are usually friendly, but cost is ridiculously high. Sinceri wants residents to voice their concerns if issues arise, but when told, the issue may or not be addressed. Many residents have only SS and maybe a small pension. If they run out of money, out they go. I don’t think Sinceri really care as long as they get the rent money. Residents suggest activities, but few are acted on.

I am a new resident at Howard Village and from what I have seen so far and the people I have talked to, I am impressed. Everyone at this facility is friendly. The apartment looks clean. The dining room is clean and the residents who live here and I talked to are friendly and tell me that they like it at Howard Village. The staff is friendly. I would recommend Howard Village to family and friends.

We toured Howard Village during our search for an Assisted Living community for my friend. The facility was okay. However, we felt that the apartment was too small. The rooms were much smaller than those at some of the other facilities that we toured.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with Howard Village. The staff are caring, helpful, and attentive. Everyone is friendly. There are meals provided for the residents. My brother has made friends, he likes the meals, and is very happy here at Howard Village. I've already told friends and family members about how good of a community this is. My brother really likes the location; for driving he's close to his bank, daughter, fav restaurants, the hospital, and other places he frequents. He's especially happy that he got the 1 bedroom that has a patio on the 1st floor. He's already moved in his birdseeds and feeder, he likes the fact that it looks like he's looking out into a park. Howard Village provides a real sense of home for him.

Nurse - never in office and does not answer messages. Some sloppy aides. Lots of complaints, kitchen help - needed. Would like brunch instead of lunch at 12:15pm or 12:30pm and supper at 5:00pm. Brunch served at 10:00am to 11:00am, most people want it.

They were lovely. It just wasn’t the right fit because we were considering moving out of state. They were just really welcoming and friendly. The facilities looked nice, maybe just a little bit older. A lot of it came down to instinct in determining where would be the best choice.
My mother has been a resident at Howard Village since [date removed]. She loves it there which is due in large part to the spirit of excellence created by the Executive Director and the team under her direction. From my mom’s initial transition until today I have witnessed high levels of compassion and support for Howard Village residents and their loved ones. The communication with both residents and family members is outstanding. Living 850 miles away, I am afforded great comfort and security knowing that my mom is under the competent watch of the Howard Village team. If ever there is an issue I know that the communication, actions, support and guidance provided has been and will be with the highest level of compassion and expertise.

Superior quality assisted living facility having a dynamic community flavor and a strong effort at vitality across the board. Staff are polite, nurturing, and attentive. It's a place where everybody knows who you are and welcomes your presence. Our elders are cared for here. 2 1/2 year baseline, my mother died here in her home with dignity.

I cannot say enough good about Howard Village. Our loved one lived in this amazing, supportive community for the past three years, and had such a positive experience here. All staff - from the administrative staff to nursing, food service, and maintenance - have been wonderful to work with, and have shown our loved one so much kindness, compassion, encouragement, and support during her stay here. I have lived here for 7 plus years. The staff is very hard working and try to help and please. Many things have changed since I first moved here. The vending machines where you could get some essentials is gone and the bank that used to visit so you could get change is also gone. There are trips to Pick & Save but sometimes its difficult to make the trip both for me, others and occasionally the van! The food seemed better 7 years ago but my taste buds were too. It's a little hard to make friends - here one day gone the next - but I'm sure it's the same all over. I really appreciate having Mass provided and [name removed] tries real hard.
