Heritage is an older facility but the place is clean, the employees go above and beyond in care. I had to move my mom to Heritage after she fell several times. She lived with me and my husband but my husband died and when she fell I could not lift her on my own. There is a lot of back story but I just want to say that Heritage was great. My mother fell a couple of times there, not their fault. Mom was 101, after her 2nd fall it was determined that she had a stroke. Heritage took her back, she was bedridden and very confused. They took excellent care of my mom for 7 months after her stroke. They fed her when she was awake, they bathed her and turned her regularly. I am a retired RN and I can speak about his hard it is to prevent bedridden patients from getting bedsores. My mom died 3 weeks after her 102nd birthday. She had no skin break down, she had lost weight but was not skin and bones. I cannot speak for the food or the activities as my mom really was not there long enough before she got worse. The staff is amazing. I would tell anyone do not pick a place because it looks pretty. My mother was in [community name removed] in [name removed] for less than a year. She was more independent at that time. And it's expensive, they charge for every extra service. But they do not care about the residents. Heritage did not increase the cost for giving my mom her meds, did not increase the cost when she became bedridden and needed baths and feeding. I would recommend Heritage if you have a loved one that is not totally independent.... Read more

Heritage Assisted Living feels more like a family environment. The lady [name removed] who initially took us on the tour did a really good job and was very informative. The staff members are very involved with the residents and the care services are excellent. When we do come to visit it seems like they have a lot of different activities going on. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend the to other families.

This was a good tour and they gave me enough information to be able to tell me what all they could do for my loved one. This community just did not seem like the right environment for my loved one.
Our tour experience was good - short and sweet.
This is an excellent place for someone who is well advanced in Alzheimer's. The staff are understanding, and excellent in ripples that have come up. I've been very happy with the services we have received.

Heritage is a most-home community. It is a beautiful home to live in. It is a 18 people that live here...like a moderate family. The staff knows all "family" by their chosen name. Six people at a table. It is a beautiful surrounding and a lovely back porch and watching the birds so they chat with their neighbors...if you desire.

I have enjoyed my experience here. The staff and the caregivers do their best to see that we are taken care of by giving the best care possible in a home like atmosphere. I believe they love their jobs and would not work so hard to have our days filled with activities and caring for our needs.

Heritage on Coleman Rd, is wonderful. I love how small it is and my grandmother will not be lost in the crowd. She is well taken care of and the staff is amazingly friendly. She likes the food too!

This community is working out well for my mother since her move here. They have a good staff, and I do feel she in good hands. They are very helpful, and have been friendly whenever I visit. The community, and her room are well maintained. There are nice activities offered, and good meals provided for the residents. All is well for my mother here in this community, and I would recommend it.

My cousin thought they had a friendly environment with the feeling like home. That is the reason she picked this community and so far it's going very well. They are on top of the care and cleanliness in the community. It is a very nice community.

I enjoyed meeting [Removed]. Even though she didn't feel well she was still very attentive to what my needs are and explained everything to my satisfaction. Heritage is a beautiful, clean facility and I felt very comfortable there.

My sister went through an adjustment period and is now doing pretty well. She likes the bingo and church services on Sunday. My sister said they have little kids that sing and she enjoys that. Her meals are not bad it is good from I have tried. I fell in love with the staff who are very helpful and they always have good attitude with a smile. You can tell they really care about their job and the residents. I love the administrator, they are really outing and friendly with everyone. They have activities like a big checker board, movies to watch with a library full of DVDs, coloring books and they try to keep them occupied. I see the residents talking while watching TV, they seem to enjoy each other's company.

I toured this community for my mother and her needs. My tour went pretty well, and this is a nice place. The staff I met was kind and friendly. The community appeared to be well maintained. It was a good experience, and they treated my family and I very well. It just wasn't the community for my mother and her needs.

The tour went extremely well. My first impression was very positive. The facility was very intimate and cozy. There was a real family atmosphere which was appealing. The facility manager, Miki, was very knowledgeable and informative regarding amenities, provision of care, medical administration, and overall patient oversight. Also, there were several room options and activities for the patients. Being my first visit to an assisted living facility, I was pleasantly surprised.
