Friendly, nice, hardworking staff. Professional nursing staff has had some turnover, and contractors fill in. The turnover is confusing for my mom.

The staff is great. Friendly. Accommodating. My mom loves the 4 pm Happy Hour entertainment and events. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens to other families.

My mother is in memory care at that facility . Almost everyone in that section is very nice. There are a few that definitely could be better. Sometimes when I go in there is an odor because a lot of the people in that section are in adult diapers. I'm sure that can't be avoided. The facility is absolutely beautiful and for people that are not in memory care I can't imagine something being much better. The section that is not memory care looks like a high-end hotel, and smells as clean as can be.

They tour giving you an idea that there is one memory floor, but there are two. People on the second floor of memory care, staff is low, lazy, not many memory activities. Only music, food, art activities on the first floor, and they often do not post activities for the first floor or communicate about them. Executive director is weak, no true bed or wall, cell communication if movement in the room. Went from two months of respite to five months and not what I expected. Nursing staff is on the first floor. Med techs, 2, food preparers, 2/3 on second floor, one occasional activity person weak. No nursing staff on the second floor, must be called even though they are more intensive memory occupants. Caught doubling diapers, lost glasses twice, no communication between family and the place. I put her in there for better care than I could do and activities. Disappointed more worried over money than the people living there! They need a system to tell staff if they wet the bed, get up at night, fall at night, page staff. Also needs first floor activities like music, art, cooking demonstrations, etc posted. Family needs to know if their loved one goes out for any activities

They are understaffed like everyone else right now. The food is not "hot" and they need more servers, but I have eaten here a few times and it is DELCIOUS! It is a great value for the money. The location is perfect, it is a new facility and out of all the places I looked, this place felt like home.

When my husband moved into HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens, no one was there to take him on a tour and explain things to him. The one excellent employee was the maintenance man, he was incredible. I would never have anyone go to a Memory Care facility on a Friday. We had a big issue with mismanaged medications. As a result of med mismanagement, my husband did not sleep. He would roam around at night, so they had me get him a personal 24 hour aide. They did not take any responsibility for the mismanagement of meds, which I believe led my husband on a quick downward spiral. He was a resident at HarborChase for a very short time before he passed away. I would never recommend HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens to others.

What stood out to me at this facility was the staff was very warm and welcoming. I could 'see' my mom fitting in well here. I don't have a single negative thing to say about HarborChase. Very happy with my decision. The staff is amazing. The facility is beautifully decorated. They have great entertainment.

I have an extra nurse with our person for part of the day. I think the nursing attention could be a little bit better than it is, including responses to questions and concerns. But otherwise it's okay.

my loved one was in bad shape with Alzheimer's, so there wasn't much the staff at HarborChase could do. they did their job, and they did what was expected of them. overall, it was an okay experience.
I have had my mother there for nearly three years and at first was a little concerned when things went missing like remotes or the cleanliness of the room. Overall I knew this was a safe place for mom. I knew they would do what was needed to protect and monitor her health. I was really annoyed that I wasn't ever cued to get more incidental or the sheets weren't being changed or as she became incontinent mattress wasn't protected. A lost comforter was also a cause for concern. Well after the come to Jesus meeting, we concluded the comforter was for ever misplaced. The management make it clear to go out buy what was missing and they would credit the bill in fact exceeded my expectations. In the most recent hire the director over the nursing care has stepped up the services. Mom being a diabetic she has arranged to have an endocrinologist to make onsite visits, beside the podiatrist in short they are making the care of mom much easier on myself. Julian

Overly physical handling of residents by CNA staff and unresponsive executive administration. Run away from here fast! This place looks pretty but during the last Influenza season, seven residents died. The flu was left to spread even after hospital confirmed the 2 influenza cases.People were not separated sick from healthy with no precaution including not allowing facemasks for the staff. Do not trust the executive director he does not follow through on anything, his only mission is numbers, number, numbers !Sales will lie and promise services nonexistent. Run fast!

0 stars ! Disgusting ! My loved one was incontinent, they left him often soiled along with leaving his unsanitary garbage in the room. His dirty clothes were often left in his laundry permeating disgusting odor in her room. They left sharp rectangle tables that residents were often tripping and seriously injuring themselves and would not remove them. They often leave people in their room for hours including finding my loved one left for over 4 hours on several occasions. They often miss meals without checking on them. The nursing staff leaves the residents floor vacant for hours while eating and then leaves the floor to go upstairs and then leaves again to dispense medication on the other side of the building leaving residents unattended during emergencies. Nurses even shut off the lights and often their is no radio or any way to contact a nurse witnessed during an emergency. My loved one had many bruises on her arms from the rough handling of the CNA's that treat the residents inappropriately. Its funny how their is not one bruise since he left. Their only form of entertainment is to sit everyone in front of a Computer -TV, no field trips and no activities. This place is not fit for a dog.

Response from HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens
October 31, 2019At HarborChase, the safety, security and comfort of all of our residents and associates is always of paramount importance to us. In addition, our associates work hard to ensure that there are always fun activities for our residents to enjoy. Although we can’t publicly discuss personal situations or medical details of individual residents, please give us a call at [removed] so that we can set up a meeting to discuss your concerns.
Care services and activities are not specifically tailored for my husband needs. It seems that activities for residents with other necessities are fair

This was the Taj Mahal of Assisted living. I want to live there. The place is so beautiful. The dining room has many different rooms inside and outside. We were invited for lunch. Food was amazing. The utensils were real silver. If you can afford the high price, this place was awesome

Thanks again for taking the time to review us. Feel free to drop by for another visit soon!
Place is horrible! Placed my father there and everything they promised they did not provide. No follow up with Administration on problems submitted. Doesn't give medication as prescribed. Supposed to check on residents every two hours, it took them hours to notice that my father was not at dinner and when they finally went to "check" on him they found him hurt and in pain on the floor in his room. Requested that he be moved to a double room for months now and it still has not been done! Filed two complaints with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. Do you due diligence and do research on these facilitates!
