Courtyard Gardens of Jupiter

We chose Courtyard Gardens of Jupiter because of the cleanliness of the facility, friendly, safe staff, are their strong points. And on place for moms list which speaks for itself I think. I live in Michigan so only see her a couple times a year. She is bed ridden currently, but tells me it is barely warm when she gets it. Also more verity's. She is not one to tell staff as to complain. My Brothers live nearby and visit a couple times a week. No complaints logged from them either, at this time.

I rate them 5 again, I still love them for all I did from the beginning. But I just wish we could find somewhere closer to Hobe Sound for the same cost as we were able through Courtyard Gardens to get her on Medicaid which was a help with cost of her living at Courtyard Gardens, but we would recommend this community to other families.

It seemed very nice for the cost, still high, but helped that my mom could share a room. They also had someone who helped me with paperwork. They try to resolve problems and communicate well with the family.

Being a caregiver is hard enough, making the decision to put our loved one in Courtyard Gardens was a huge mistake. Level 4 care was hardly level 1 care. Our loved one ended up in the hospital with a life-threatening situation that needed immediate medical attention which resulted in emergency surgery. I'm so thankful I was there to call for help. They claim to do 2 hour check-ins, which does not happen. The call system is very antiquated; that's if and when they actually respond. NO call button necklaces or bracelets are offered. A very large bruise went unreported which was discovered at a doctor's appointment, which resulted in X-rays ordered. We expressed our concern continuously in person and via email with hardly any response. I asked for the owners email to express my concerns about the lack of care, however the gatekeeper was advised by the Executive Director not to give it out. Stay clear of this place if your loved one needs care!

5 for all! After touring 11 other facilities, we were very impressed and overly satisfied with the Courtyard Gardens of Jupiter. They have always been awesome and very professional and helpful in all respects. We love them and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I like that the staff has been there a long time, and they have plenty of staff to take care of the people who are there. The medical staff is excellent with prescriptions and appointments. They have an in-house doctor, and they have transportation via van to other outside appointments. Danielle, the head of nursing, is amazing. They also have an in-house salon. And they have bingo and ice cream and various activities for older people to enjoy. There’s a wonderful courtyard that is lusciously landscaped, with lots of chairs to relax. I like that set-up a lot more than other places where you just see residents sitting around in the lobby.

Everything worked out great for us. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

Courtyard Gardens is a very nice place. One of the first things that stood out to me is there's no typical odor that you might find in a senior living community. And I like the overall environment. You do have to be a strong advocate for your loved one. You have to stay vigilant and stay on top of things. I find that I sometimes have to call things to their attention. They're great about doing it when I ask, but sometimes I have to keep asking. Overall I'm happy having my loved one there.

The reason we picked Courtyard Gardens was because my mother-in-law was there until she passed. We were happy with the care she got. Courtyard Gardens is a clean, friendly, well run facility. The food is great. I would recommend the facility to my family and friends.
