I would say a 5 for all of those even though it is a case of getting what we pay for. They are under staffed, but I don't complain cuz the rate would be higher if they paid more. The price was good and the administrator really worked with us to reduce the monthly cost.... Read more

Since California is the fruit basket of the U.S. I would like to see more fresh fruit and veggies served. I like the location and its proximity to numerous restaurants and that you take advantage of the [fee removed] Tuesday movies. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The location is very nice and the rooms are well taken care of with natural lighting which is wonderful. They are in smaller groupings which has advantages and disadvantages in terms of staffing perhaps a slight disadvantage in terms of a homey feel an advantage.

It's pretty clean. We picked this community because, this faciltiy offers all in one pricing, and one set price. They also offered a discount. They have standard institutional food, set meals, which is cooked in one place. They are understaffed, but have on call services as needed. For the price, it's a extemely nice facilty. The size of the rooms is very nice, and layed out well. Also, they have a really nice open common area.

Response from Gramercy Court
October 5, 2022Hi Kathy, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a kind review and recommendation! At Gramercy Court Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we strive to provide excellent quality care, and we are happy to hear you are pleased with the service at our facility. We will share your positive review with our staff.
Gramercy gets zero stars. My father had to be hospitalized after being at Gramercy for a week due to carelessness of nurses and staff. My father was dehydrated/malnourished and was hospitalized for almost a week. While he was gone, the staff stole new gym clothes/tennis shoes/socks (meant for physical therapy) and other items to comfort him during stay like favorite Spiderman shirts and hat. All gone!!! Do not send your loved one here... it looks nice and staff may seem nice, but it's NOT!!!

June 24, 2022Hi Rebecca, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We hope all residents and their family members can feel confident in the care we provide, and we are sorry to hear you had a negative experience with our facility. We would love to speak with you and learn about your experience in further detail. If you have the time, please call us at (916) 482-2200.
My mother was sent here by [name removed] to recover from a major bone surgery. Upon her arrival, they were not ready, had no wheelchair available, did not review her chart, and would not allow us to come into the facility with her. Once they had gotten our mother segregated from us, nurse [name removed] (Licensed Vocational Nurse [number removed]) bullied my mother and grabbed a bag of vitamins out of her hand. My mother fell on the floor since nobody would help her get out of bed to go to the bathroom. She called us screaming and crying in pain and we heard that nasty [name removed] say, "Now see what you have done? This is your own fault and you have nobody to blame but yourself!" This vile venom was simply because my mother tried to take a multivitamin after they had NOTHING for her to eat and she hadn't eaten in 20 hours. Beware of this place and steer clear. They don't take COVID precautions, make sure that you cannot see your loved ones, and then let nasty nurses like [name removed] bully patients. Shame on them!

I would say that I asked lots of questions and they were able to help and answer all of them. The staff were pleasant. I would suggest pop in visits, phones calls if you are not able to visit and to check in Everyone at the community seems pretty friendly including staff and residents. The food fluctuates. I chose this community because it appeared to have less residents so they could offer more individualized care ,the cost factor, cleanliness, and friendliness.

grey, smaller, very nice coordinator, for 2 occupants more expensive but the community fee was much less (and she would wave it as a promo for us) probably better for the less active.

The facility is under new ownership and undergoing some renovations. The director of assisted living gave me the tour. Very interactive director. Didn't get to see assisted living apartment only just social rooms and memory care apartments. Staff very friendly and good security measures.Undecided at this point.

Close to Kaiser North. Lots secured roaming areas indoor and outdoors for memory care residents. Seems to have a lot of scheduled activities.

The activity director who gave our tour demonstrated genuine care and friendship with the residents of this assisted living community. The assisted living building is scheduled for remodeling, but currently has the air of a rehab center. Based on the remodeled portions of the property, I expect that a year from now, this property will be quite beautiful and well-appointed, but the website description of “cottages” is very misleading. This property does not have any real green spaces or relaxing views from the windows.

I am a healthcare professional that makes rounds of most of the senior living communities in Sacramento. Gramercy Court has recently been remodeled at both their skilled nursing home and on the assisted living as well. They are beautiful homes and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their new Memory Care section is clean and bright. When I need to place my parents, this is where I will do so.

A Place for Mom has scored Gramercy Court 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
