The Everlan staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The housekeeping aspect is a great add to the included benefits. The move-in process was very smooth; Everlan was extremely accommodating. The meals, by and large, are of good quality, yet more variety and consistency with the restaurant staffing would enhance that experience. Overall, I would recommend that individuals exercise due diligence in their search process to see what works best for their family member(s); we found Everlan to be best option for my parents situation, life stage and budget. Everlan of Hixson offers an elegant independent living experience for 55+ adults. Enjoy the scenic mountain views from the courtyard, which features a stylish fireplace. Inside, residents can relax at the spa, enjoy fine or casual dining, and socialize. Then, residents can retreat to their own apartment with a fully functional and up-to-date kitchen. This community is managed by Dominion Senior Living, which seeks to honor God through service to seniors. It’s easy to appreciate all the welcoming touches throughout the community. The staff goal here is to make life easier and maintenance free, so residents have time to pursue what matters most to them.
Between the beautiful Tennessee locale, convenient access to movies, shopping, and dining, and neighboring Chattanooga, residents and their families can find plenty to do nearby. Booker T. Washington State Park offers bike trails and fishing piers for those who love the outdoors. The Chattanooga Zoo features animals from around the world as well as educational opportunities, making it an ideal spot to spend time with grandchildren. For entertainment, enjoy comedy and music performance at the Tivoli Theater. The area is full of fun opportunities for every personality.

No contact with Hixon facility, I called several times for a tour and always had to leave a message and I think they only called back once. I was not impressed with their communication.
Everyone that works there are wonderful and helpful. If I needed to I would live there. Everything is wonderful except the food. The cook that was there was great but he resigned. Corporate's cook was great. The cook that is there now is bad the quality of the food: horrible, food cold, not what you order, items you order does not come with your order. I know these issues have been addressed but no change!

My tour at Everlan of Hixson went nicely. The people I met were nice. It seemed like a good place. My decision came down to the wow factor I felt at another community that absolutely blew me away in terms of the people and amenities.

Everland of Hixson is a fantastic facility. My dad has been having some health issues and they have been great with his care. We are very happy with them and I would absolutely recommend to others looking.
