The staff members are very friendly. My father was matched up with some other men that had common interests. So no considers them new friends. Which is amazing. He would say the kitchen staff is really friendly and food is great!

Everyone at Devon Oaks is incredibly kind and caring. They work closely with residents’ families. The food is fantastic and the residents are like family to each other. Everything is clean and well kept. It truly is a wonderful place. We feel so lucky to have found it and breathe a sigh of relief every time our father says how much he loves his new home there.

We are pleased with the facility in general. I suppose they all have their problems. I find laundry to be an issue. Dad's clothes & sheets & towels seem to go missing. The food is absolutely terrible. He is in memory care now, so I'm aware they will have a different menu due to swallowing issues - but he makes faces when he eats & he would always eat anything. The residents in assisted living complain about the food all the time. Some of the staff is absolutely amazing. Some - not so much. I know that's not really helpful, but it's true. I would recommend the facility in general, as I know he is safe there and seems happy enough.

My mom loves the Devon Oaks Assisted Living community and the people there. My experiences with them have been equally good. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The facility is very clean. They have a lot of activities going on. Everyone seems to be very helpful in answering questions etc. They always respond quickly. I love the lobby and general hang-out room when we go to visit. There is a lovely patio in Memory Care and also in Assisted Living. Both are fantastic and we have access to both when we visit. The food wasn't great the one time that we ate there. It appears to be mediocre at best. Our loved one started out in Assisted Living and then moved to Memory Care almost immediately. We are having a hard time because he is not nearly as far along in the progression of the disease as everyone else in there. This limits his activities and general conversation/interaction with other people. We understand this is for his own good - as he was wandering into other people's rooms etc. but they don't have the man power to keep track of him all the time. Again - understandable. He had a wonderful room and is now in a tiny space comparably. We are getting used to how things run - but I feel like housekeeping is an issue. His room doesn't appear to be cleaned regularly and I don't believe they have ever changed the sheets. I would like to know how often he is getting a shower and I know he is not made to brush his teeth and that is upsetting. I think I would recommend this facility for Assisted Living. I'm just not crazy about Memory Care. Again - we are still learning and I may be wrong about a thing or two.

The staff at Devon Oaks are very personable and friendly. The general manager [name removed] is just a super guy to work with. It does not feel like that nursing home setting but it feels more like an apartment setting. Based on the experience we have had so far with this community we would recommend them to other families.
This community was okay it was jut not the right level of independence versus assistance for my loved one and what she needed at the time. It was a good tour.
This was a very nice community and it was a really good tour.
We chose Devon Oaks because it is very close and convenient for me and I also liked everything about it when I toured. The room sizes are wonderful, my moms room is very spacious and gets a lot of natural light. The administration is really on top of things and know everyone by name, it is a great personal touch. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We did visit here and have ruled it out. They were not at all welcoming and we do not want a high rise building.

We toured here, and really liked this community. It's a newer, bigger place than some others we visited. It's definitely nice, and the staff members were friendly and helpful when we were there. However, it would have taken my loved one two months to get in because there was a waitlist when we were looking.

I have no complaints of the tour I had taken of this community for my loved one. The staff where friendly and on time to our appointment as well as answered any questions we had for them. They even where kind enough to offer us a meal during our visit to see what the menu was like. I liked the the open floor plan and that it was easy to navigate through the facility. It was just not the right fit in the end decision.

Very clean; everyone is helpful and goes beyond their individual job description to assist, tons of activities. Our parents are checked on regularly. The food is good. Rooms are small for two people.. Located near world class Heath care at the Avon Cleveland Clinic. Biggest negative is extreme lack of religious services. This is sad since they residents have time to be encouraged as death draws nearer to them. They didn't even have Easter services.

Very nice assisted living facilities. Ample common space, activities and a large bedroom. We appreciate the not for profit mission. Concerned it is too far from us and my parents church.

At Eliza Jennings Assisted Living everybody from housekeeping to dietary knows each clients name. They have a saido burning class/memory class that is free of service. They work with the residents for 15 minutes each day and practice simple math and reading. Everyone from maintenance to housekeeping teach the residents. The administration is very respective and answer any questions I might have.

A Place for Mom has scored Devon Oaks Assisted Living 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
