There is much need for improvement. Our family did not have a good experience at Park Terrace or Deer Valley Senior Living. We dealt with their poor management

The friendliness of the staff at Deer Valley is phenomenal they get overall 6 stars out of 5. What really drew our loved one in were two things - one the dining hall. The dining hall experience has been nothing less than amazing, she is able to socialize and make new friends. The chef is outstanding and makes great food, they have an excellent menu. The second thing is the community is very easy to navigate through. It is not super spread out which is nice. The dining hall, salon and front desk are all on the same floor, if you go up the elevator you are in the family gathering room and game room, and then up one more floor is the theater room. For all the services they have to offer we do think the value is good

I was not impressed with Deer Valley. I scheduled a tour and they did not keep track of it or do well at responding. The facility is a converted hotel.
Incredibly inviting and warm staff, excellent food, and overall beautiful and comfortable building. Would recommend Deer Valley to anyone looking for an Assisted Living or Memory Care facility - it's a very nice (and fun!) place to be.

Customer representative was courteous, knowledgeable, and very personable. I was very worried and nervous about how I would find my mother a place to live. She calmed my mind by giving me lots of information and many options. I felt much better after our conversation.

The minute you walk through the door, the staff great you with warmth and treat you like family. The lobby is clean and inviting. The residents are cared for and the amenities they offer are wonderful. They have a café, putting green, pool, exercise room, and a beautiful full-service salon. I just love to visit, I always have a good time when I'm there. I highly recommend Deer Valley Senior Living.

My parents just moved in last month. Dad can be so picky with his meals but the Chef at Deer Valley has solved Dad's complaining. He raves about the food and large portions. Chef [name removed] and his Team do an amazing job. Thank you for keeping my parents so happy at Deer Valley!

What a joy to find! My Mom feels like she is a Queen of Deer Valley. She has settled in quickly and regained some of her independence knowing there are people to help her. I can finally sleep through the night knowing she is well cared for. My family highly recommends Deer Valley. You wont find a better place!

We chose Deer Valley Senior Living mostly because of the location. The room sizes here are adequate, they are laid out well. The food here is very good, they are chef prepared meals. The best part about the community so far would be how accommodating they have been. Overall, I would recommend.

My parents moved in [date removed]. After only 3 months, the staff has made them feel like they are long-term residents! Deer Valley is a beautiful residence - cheerful, sunny, open, well-maintained. The staff are well-trained, efficient, "jack-of-all-trades!" They each do just about everything to assure each residents needs are met, from getting meals, to meds, to ADL's, to bedtime assistance, and FUN! And they really, truly LISTEN to any concerns from the family. They all are such sweethearts! Best move we could have made for our parents!!

My mom has been a resident at dvsl for over 6 months and she loves the place. There is plenty to do and the food is first rate. I have found the staff attentive to her needs and everyone is super friendly. The times I have visited, the place is tidy, neat and clean. I suggest a visit to see all that is offered.

This is a very nice facility with beautiful amenities and rooms. My Dad would be going to stay there but for a misunderstanding about administering his insulin shots. I reserved him a place but I must have misunderstood. When the Nurse came to evaluate Dad she informed me that they cant give insulin shots.

We had an amazing Tour/Visit at Deer Valley Senior Living [date removed]. Delightful staff, beautiful & comprehensive facility. And the food was 5star restaurant quality and presentation. A newly renovated building with lovely outside areas to enjoy...pool, fireplace, dogpark and lots of visiting space.

A Place for Mom has scored Deer Valley Senior Living 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
