Brookdale has been a great fit for my mom. It has been especially challenging during the pandemic, but they have done a good job of helping my mom settle in and helping me to feel comfortable that she is being taken care of. [Name removed] has been a God-send. I so appreciate all she has done for us! :)... Read more

We had somewhat if a mixed experience with Brookdale Concord Parkway. Overall I thought they were very nice in terms of both the friendliness of the staff and the facility itself. It is a well maintained, clean, nice looking place. However, I think they could stand to be more attentive when it comes to care. My loved one went for 3 weeks wearing the same set of clothes, and even if they'd been taking her word for it that she was changing you'd think they would have noticed she never had any laundry to do.

We used Brookdale Concord Parkway for a brief respite stay for my loved one. I thought they did a good job in terms of the care they provided, but there were a few ways I'd like to see them improve before I considered them as a permanent option. The medical staff seemed quite good, they were attentive and obviously interested in making sure the residents were well taken care of. The staff also did an excellent job with the upkeep of the facility, it was very clean (although there was a noticeable odor). However, some of the staff did not dress or act in what I would consider to be a professional manner, which was a bit offputting. Another issue we had was with the food. The quality overall could be improved, and there were also issues with items that were listed on the menu not being available on more than one occasion. But overall I thought they did a good job with the respite stay and I can definitely recommend them for that purpose.

It was a nice facility. It just was not what Mom is looking for at this point. We have seen other assisted living environments with small kitchenette's and more closet space. The staff were not as friendly as other communities. Many were talking amongst themselves. The facility was clean ad everyone looked happy.

My mom lived here for a little more than a year until she needed to go to a nursing home. She called this place home which was good to hear as i felt a little guilty moving her in. The place isn't perfect but think the caregivers work really hard and took good care of my mom. Managers there seemed to care about mom too, and would try to fix issues that i had whenever they came up. Mom would always say people complain about the food but it was always pretty good when i would come eat with her. Like i said, they werent perfect, but felt like she was well taken care of and that they cared about her.

The staff at Brookdale Concord West is very friendly. But I was dissapointed overall, which is why we moved her after the first thirty days. There was a lot of lag time, where she would pull the cord for help and it would take them sometimes over an hour to respond. There were also instances where they ran out of food during the meals and she did not get as much as the other residents. We are currently waiting on a room to open up at another place which hopefully will work out better.

I would not leave my dog here. I had two loved ones here, and one fell and died and a week letter the other fell and landed in the hospital with serious injuries. I have left four message for their executive manager, and I can't seem to get him on the phone. My experience has not been good, the people there, the nurses and the med techs are good, but the management definitely leaves something to be desired.

toured Sunday 2/23; nice enough facility but only offers small rooms with baths, no living room area; staff pleasant and helpful; fairly active residents in community room; very specific times for meals

This is a very nice palce, but we were trying to look (on mom's behalf) close to where she had always lived. But when I talked to my pastor, they said that at my mothers age, I would be the only one really visiting her, so I looked for a place that was more convinient for me. Had I elected to stay in Concord to place her in assisted living, it would have been here
