Could not be happier, I have peace of mind

This was the first place that i looked at for my father's placement. I was so impressed that i did not look any where else! The employees are happy with their work environment, care givers, medical aids, receptionist, and office personnel. The activity director tailors activities the residents. There is also a bird, named Buddy, that lives in the main living room. Each person that works at Colonial Court genuinely loves to work there, even the person who passes out snacks daily. I know my dad is in the right place!

Challenges of Assisted Living

My loved one likes the activities. It is expensive. They have restrictions on visitations It is challenging for those who have a 9am to 5pm. Visiting hours ends at 4:30pm, and you have to set-up appointments, the day before you visit, which can also be challenging.

We chose Colonial Court because of the overall atmosphere, it was very positive and inviting. The staff has been fantastic and they really make you feel like they care about your loved one. I would recommend it

We have not been able to visit the community but from speaking with our loved one over the phone everything seems to be going very good. She is being well taken care of, and anytime we have questions or concerns the staff members are very responsive.

Great Staff

I would use this community for another loved one. The staff were really wonderful to my loved one. The food was good, and I even ate with my loved one there. Due to the lock down, they community didn't let me in with the passing of my loved one. This wasn't their fault.

TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

We helped our 90 year old neighbor to find an assisted living facility and Colonial Court was the first one we looked at and kept coming back to it. It's smaller than some of the others and has a very friendly atmosphere. It's clean and has wonderful grounds to walk in or sit on the patios. The staff is terrific!! They take personal interest in each client and our friend loves her helper. We told her nephew about it and he drove up to Spokane to check it out and liked it too. We thank God for a place like this! And when we go out to visit, they treat us like old friends. Try it, you'll LOVE IT!

Great community in the Valley

Colonial Court is all on one level, making it easy for residents to get around. The staff are caring & the local owners are hands on with oversight & really seem to care. It really shows that the administrator, [name removed] sincerely cares about the residents & staff here. The residents always look well cared for & the hair salon keeps everyone looking great too! Always smells great as well. Highly recommend this sweet little community to anyone looking for great individual care for their loved one.

Nice place!

I toured this place recently and thought it was really lovely. It's small but the staff were friendly and it was very clean and smelled good. The residents I saw seemed happy and well cared for and the sample menu I got in the information packet looked really good too. I'm going to move forward with trying to get my Dad a place here.

My mom's care

I like the care that my mom is getting here with the nice staff here at this community. The food is very good and she is happy with the meals. She is encouraged to socialize. They offer a lot of special activities during the holidays that are so wonderful. They keep me informed on her progress. This community offers excellent care and a good value for my mom. Families would be happy with everything that is offered for there loved one here.

Review of Colonial Court - Spokane Valley, WA

I have to say Colonial Court wasn’t what I was looking for. While it had it’s appeal I felt like is was hectic and to crowded for my taste. Kelly [Removed] no longer works there but a friendly young man said he would be glad to show us around or we were free to wonder. He gave me one of the material packets which was pack with everything one would need.It was clean and the staff was very friendly. The front view was appealing but I didn’t care for the area and the parking was very limited. Of course it was Easter weekend. The rooms and halls were pleasing but the space in the central location was a bit cramped and hard to maneuver

I would give them a ten!

It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have never felt more secure that, for the illness she has, she has the care she needs. She has a wonderful room, and I love that they all care and that they aren't corporate. It's more affordable than where she was before. It has just brought me so much peace, and comfort. I would give them a ten!

Awesome

It is awesome. I have nothing bad nothing bad to say. They’re really good. I find it very clean, organized. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I’ve heard it’s very good. There is enough parking. They have a patio and a garden. They do sit and be fit, they have a hair salon. She does their nails. They have a lot going on.

A Place for Mom has scored Colonial Court 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
