They take good care of my loved one. They always call me and let me know if anything is going on. I've been happy with where she's at.

He has had no complaints so far. I really like that they are very cautious about the omicron outbreak, they put the facility into lockdown for a couple of weeks to keep residents safe. They did allow medical professionals to go in to see my loved one. I felt comfortable that my brother was safe and being well taken care of and I would recommend to others.
Our family had an in person tour and it started off a little rock, the lady who was supposed to give the tour was on vacation so someone else had to step it. The place was just a little to busy for our loved one and it was very open and we wanted something more secured.
I visit often, and my loved one is always clean and well taken care of. Her room is clean, and the facility is spotless. The people who take are of her are absolutely delightful. They call me with anything and everything. Sometimes the apologize for calling, but I tell them how much I appreciate hearing from them. When I'm sitting there with my loved one, they ask if we need anything. They are just absolutely delightful. They seem to know what they're doing and are very good at their jobs. They're young people, but I never get the feeling they're there just doing a job. They're very compassionate with the residents, even in difficult situations. They absolutely work it out and are patient beyond belief. They have really good people there. I wholeheartedly recommend them. The medical staff have in-person sit-downs with me to talk about my loved one's medical care, and they call me as well with updates, asking if there's anything I think she needs, or they'll bring up issues that they've noticed. They're constantly tweaking her care as often as needed. They make sure her prescriptions are refilled. They are really on top of all of her medications, and I've had no problems with her care. It's been superb. The Covid situation has probably caused a little stress on the employees, but overall the staff have been great. The food looks good, and It's very well balanced. They've been very good about cutting it up into small pieces so she doesn't choke. My loved one has no complaints and is actually eating and gaining weight back that she had lost before. They have a wonderful activities director. When I'm there, she'll ask me if I need anything. My loved one has done arts and crafts, and they're very patient with her with her physical limitations. But they're still engaging her in activities, and they'll sit and read to her, which is very nice. They do lots of crafts, and I see those hanging outside my loved one's door. I'm thrilled that they're patient enough to involve her even with her physical limitations. That was not the case at another facility she was at previously. I think they're doing a great job and treating her very well. I think the cost is appropriate, and she gets what she pays for. She's well taken care of, they engage her in activities, and I have absolutely no complaints. They're more reasonable than where she was before, and I felt like she got absolutely nothing there. So I've been very pleased. When you walk in, they're are all so friendly. They speak to you on a first name basis and are so helpful. I think it's a great facility.

I think they do a good job for what they've gone through this last year with Covid. I would say give it a chance. I'm not there that often, but everybody seems pretty nice. They seem short-staffed, but that seems to be the case anywhere you go. I know they're trying to hire more people. It's just a hard time right now. I think the care that they're providing is good. They make sure my loved one takes her medications on time. It seems pretty clean overall. I've noticed a little bit of a smell in her room sometimes, but that's just related to incontinence and taking out the trash. We're considering getting a diaper genie to help. If there's ever any issues, they call us and schedule a time to talk and take care of anything that needs taking care of. The cost seems to be about the same as other places in the area. They're coming back with more activities recently. They have bingo, arts and crafts, weekly movie showings. During March Madness they gave out t-shirts and showed basketball games. They have a bus where you can go on a city tour and go walking.

At the beginning, I liked them. I liked the people - they were very nice. But then we had some issues with our loved one escaping , and one phone call in particular they were not so nice to me about it. But I think they were probably just frustrated with the situation. It's not the norm to have a man his age climbing the fence! But otherwise, we've had good interactions with them. I know that they've stayed in contact with my sister regarding his care through the times when we've not been allowed inside to visit.
The community for the money and what they have to offer in memory care I would recommend. The room sizes were good, the food was ok, one meal was good and one not so good. They offered lots of arts and crafts and they tried to do go out in the community before covid hit.

The Facility has really worked with my family in caring for both my dad and mother. They really make sure that they have all that is needed. They provide transportation to their Doctors and back. They make sure that they both are eating when they should be.

At Brighton Court Assisted Living I like that its a smaller facility. I am out of state and don't have the option to see mother. I was there the week she moved in. I rely on emails and phone calls. I like that I am able to call up at the desk and ask them to do something. I have the freedom to be in touch and they are cooperating with that. They are good about getting back with me. I am not always sure that the orders being given are followed through on. I do wonder if things really get done but that's just because I am not there to see. I will say I was disappointed in the food. I have eaten lunches and dinners there. It wasn't as good as I thought it would have been. My mother is English and likes things a certain way so I was disappointed in that.

Brighton Court was able to help me through a tough time with a necessary decision with my mother. I had an immediate need with needing to place her in a safe, caring, thoughtful setting in a very short time period for a respite care stay. I will definitely be looking to place her there for a permanent solution after I negotiate through my mom's financing issues and the sale of her home.

I only walked into the front 'lounge' area. I didn't have an appointment, shame on me. However the marketing person whom I had been speaking on the phone about the place was very warm and friendly and said that it would be okay to drop in when I had time. I did call about 20 minutes ahead. She was in they said. I checked in when I arrived and was told she would be out in a few minutes. So I looked around their large lounge a bit and looked for a chair to sit in. There were plenty but all were dirty (dirty from spills & stains & hairy. There was however a big old white dog - lab? He lumbered over to me but I'm not fond of animals so he padded away quickly enough. It was 9am-ish when I arrived and about 20 plus minutes later I left without a tour and without ever having spoken to the marketing director. I saw her, talking to a few different people in the office area, not ever acknowledging my presence and seeming none to rushed to do so. During that entire time I did not see nor hear a single resident. I sat in my car to make a phone call (not allot of guest parking) and only then did I see a few residents heading outside to their bus for a field trip.

I was very dissatisfied with this facility. My father was left(twice) to sit in his urine soak clothes for hours after the facility decided that they could no longer car for him. Instead of stepping up to the plate and providing some help, they just wanted to send him to the hospital and make it the hospital’s responsibility. In my opinion, the facility is understaffed on weekends. Although the staff had to help my father on and off of the toilet, they would often fail to clean the fecal matter off of the toilet set. I would have to call staff to clean the bathroom. A "Place for Mom" did not help me find the facility.

I have not been there too many times as mom has been in the hospital much of the time since getting in there, but as far as I can tell from the limited experience that I have had everyone there has been exceptionally friendly and helpful.

It's very clean. There have been a few people that haven't been as friendly as one would hope. The care levels can be a little confusing in what's included, or covered. She likes the food. All in all it's been pretty good.
