Our family is so happy here. It’s amazing how active, happy and independent residents are, despite needing assistance, walkers, or wheelchairs. Everyone is busy going about their days, eating together, talking, participating in various activities, sitting outside when the weather is nice, getting their hair and nails done, painting pictures at happy hour, and just generally enjoying their time. The excellent care provided offsets any physical or cognitive limitations that life has imposed upon them- it’s great to see.

My sister has enjoyed being a resident at College Manor for several years. She always refers to this assisted living facility as "home". I credit her level of contentment, and feeling of belonging to the compassionate owners of the facility, the caring staff and the beautiful physical environment found at College Manor.

We are just very pleased with College Manor. My aunt has been a complete turn around since the first month she has been there. Everyone has been wonderful. They are very caring and compassionate people. Everything has been excellent. The facility is nice and clean. The value is great. The care givers do a great job at making sure the residents are safe and well taken care of. They have a variety of activities to choose from.

My mother is a resident at College Manor. We have been delighted with the care she has received. Without exception the staff members at College Manor are always friendly, courteous, and very responsive to requests and questions. When my mother moved in they did everything they could to make her feel welcome and to help her adjust to the community. As a resident, my mother is very happy with the food, the entertainment, social parties for families, and the "field trips" offered which allow residents to go to local restaurants and stores. I am happy because I believe my Mom is in a safe environment where she'd being cared for by compassionate people.

I just love College Manor. They take real good care of my Mom. We moved my Mom here in June 2011. We visited 4 other places after doing some online research. We chose College Manor because it has a wonderful, warm feeling as soon as you walk in. The facility is spacious and nicely decorated. The living room and dining room for the residents, their families and guests are large, sparkling clean, cozy and inviting. The lobby is large and decorated with plants, artwork, etc. and decor of the season. The staff at the front desk always greets me with a warm hello and smiles. I do mean always. In fact, that was the other thing we noticed immediately when we visited. Everyone we encountered along the way smiled, said hello and had eye contact and friendly conversation with us. They took my family and I on tour four separate occasions, including Mother's Day afternoon in order to accommodate my special request. Bouquets to the Director not only for that, but for spending as much time as necessary with me on the phone in order to answer all of my questions. She was wonderful with my Mom and patiently answered my Mom's same questions over and over again as if it was the first time every time. Such patience, love and compassion. I really give props to this place for the highly trained staff. It makes 100% difference in how things are. I can sleep at night knowing I don't have to worry about something happening to Mom and she can feel like she lives on her own. It's a win-win. All-in-all, it's a great place to have to be when you get to the point where sometimes you don't always have a choice of where you get to be. My Mom is happy there and that's what counts. Thanks everyone at College Manor!
