Very nice facility and staff. My mom is quite happy there. The food was really good at first but it is now contracted out and so depending on who is cooking it varies. They have a good activities director but a lot of residents don't want to participate, so that makes it hard to play games where a number of people are required.... Read more

I visited Cambridge Crossing today to check it out for my mom, who tends to wander off. Right from the start, I was impressed by how lovely the place smelled—it was really inviting. The facility is very clean, and the new memory care area looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun once it's full of residents. [name removed] made the whole process so easy and stress-free. They were really friendly and helpful. My mom also had a chance to meet one of the nurses, [name removed], and she really liked them. I’m feeling pretty good about this place and think it’s going to be a great fit for my mom.

I like that it's a small facility (60 rooms) so the staff knows everyone personally and vice versa. They also do a family dinner the 3rd Thursday of every month and invite family to participate in activities, especially outings. I am very please so far and think it is a really good place value wise.

Response from Cambridge Crossing
May 22, 2023Thank you for taking the time to let us know how our Williamsburg community is doing. We are thrilled to hear your positive experience and will certainly pass your comments along to the onsite team. Thank you again.
They are taking such good care of my mom. Her room is always clean. She is always clean and dressed. They go out of their way to try and involve her in activities. The staff is always polite and nice and easy to talk to. We love them. Couldn't ask for anything better!!!

Response from Cambridge Crossing
May 1, 2023Tracy, thank you for taking the time to let us know about our Williamsburg community. It is always such a delight to hear from our family members about the care their loved ones are receiving. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything. Thanks again for the 5-Star review!
Our tour with Greenfield Senior Living of Williamsburg went well. It is a smaller facility in size. It was also quieter with less activities going on. We did not see many people up and moving around.
I do have concerns as the staff has completely turned over 3 times since last October. But I know that is an issue across the industry. So when that happens, I worry about care dropping. The staff now is very good and [name removed] seems to be a good manager and receptive to any concerns.

I would not send anyone here! Terrible place to bring your loved ones!!!! the caregivers are wonderful, but they are very over worked and management do NOT care about staff. KItchen supervisor was charged with rape! New Executive director stole from residents last time he worked at Greenfield! this place needs to shut its door!

I would not send my loved one here. They told me it was going to be a certain price, but then after all was said and done the price was WAY higher than what they had told me initially. It is not all inclusive pay, so there are a bunch of add on fees.
Caring staff, I loved the dining room. Very specious. Beautiful out door. Nice activity calendar and everyone was so welcoming. We love Greenfield. They provided fresh cookies after my visit. Such a nice gesture.

Don't go here. My loved one has been on his own, taking care of his own medication, showering, etc. All they do now is laundry. For months now they have said they would move him to the lowest level of care. They haven't done so and are still charging for the higher level of care that he does not need and is not receiving. The care and the staff are very poor here. They are way understaffed, and the staff are rude. The food started out okay but has really gone downhill. You used to be able to choose off a menu, and now you just get what you get, whether you like it or not. It's just a bad situation all around, and not acceptable.

The staff is friendly. The rooms are good, and spacious. They did the best they could with the way they were treated. My loved one wouldn't allow any assistance. We moved my loved one to a different community and he did a lot better at the new community.

They treated my father with the utmost respect. They also treated me with a lot of respect as well. I would highly, highly recommend Greenfield Of Williamsburg to those looking for senior living options for their loved one. They catered to the people and individual residents and everything was excellent.

This facility is quaint and very warm and friendly. [Removed] was so sweet and caring. Her interaction with the residents was genuine. I could see my Mom living here.

This place felt warm and inviting from the beginning. Small 32 bed assisted living facility with a memory care facility. I was impressed that they were able to answer my questions before I knew to ask them. I knew so much more about assisted living after my visit.

When I toured Greenfield of Williamsburg, I thought it was a very nice community. The staff was welcoming and the person that took me around gave me good information. It was a good experience but we chose another community that fit my father's needs better.

The staff are doing the best they can to care for my husband. I have not seen a lot of activities when I visit. I think the residents would benefit from more physical activity. I would not feel comfortable recommending this community as he has not been here long. I would say it is worth taking a look at. The food is ok and they keep the community clean. I feel he is safe at this community.

A Place for Mom has scored Cambridge Crossing 8.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
