Brookdale Wickliffe (Offering HealthPlus)

My sister passed in Dec. I think she actually should gave had skilled nursing, rather than assisted living. While they indicated they could handle. I think the staffing issues preclude the best care. They tried and I think my sister would not have lived as long as she did if she was in a skilled nursing facility. I could be wrong but it was always on my mind

My mother used to stay here and I know employees here and they are really excellent all around. They take time to really care about their residents and care alot about their job. I'd definitely want work here.

I don't really have a 200 words but I did want to say the staff is the best out of all the brookdales. They really care about eachother and the residents. I will definitely consider having my father join as a resident thank you.

I really enjoyed my tour of this facility. The staff was very kind gave us water and fresh cookies! Everything is clean and the rooms are very big and nice plenty of space for two people of needed!

Great tour! Really nice facility. I enjoyed my tour really had a weird feeling touring facilities but this one felt like a home environment. My long time friend will need a place to be and this facility is definitely one to consider!

Things going well- after moms rocky start staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful mom enjoys her room and going to meals. I'm trying to get her involved in activities as well.

Brookdale Wickliffe is a really nice, clean and well kept community. We really like the surrounding grounds of the building. The staff members are extremely friendly and based on the experience we have had so far we would absolutely recommend them to other families.

I was pleased with my parent's care until the pandemic. Now I feel that care and cleanliness is lacking and there is little stimulus, no more "events" for families to celebrate, and no more "care" meets to assess progress or needs. The cost, however, has gone up, up, up.

Facility is managed well. Any problems are quickly dealt with. Very responsive to resident needs. Would recommend this facility.

We were very pleased when my loved one moved in about three years ago. But the past year and a half has been very disappointing. Services that we're paying extra for are not being preformed on a regular basis like the plan was set up. I feel management tells the families what they want you to hear. The nurses and receptionist are good overall, but some of the other staff I'm not as pleased with. They do have quite a bit of activities.

It has been a very positive experience overall. It is convenient and close to the freeway so easy to get to. The nursing staff has been good, but there is a lot of turnover in everyday staff. However, the changes in the kitchen staff has caused the options to be less than when he first moved in and the quality has gone way down as well. I would recommend to others looking.

This place was FANTASTIC! Very clean, small & homey --not like an institution, the entire atmosphere is uplifting as well as a safe environment! No long hallways, beautiful common area, the residents seemed happy, engaged in a myriad of activities of their choosing, and involved! Ample space in rooms. Brookdale will work with you to attempt to mimic the schedule your 'senior' is used to! I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! ---[name removed]

The staff is the key. 1. The first person is [name removed]. She was a key ingredient when looking for an assisted living facility. [name removed] answered a lot of our questions, was gracious with her time, gave us a great tour. She is kind, helpful and always very professional. To this day, [name removed] is the best. 2. The nursing staff is very attentive to our mom and the family questions. 3. The maintenance crew is awesome too. 4. The food service staff is professional. The above could not happen unless it was managed by a great director, [name removed]. The rooms are clean, the staff is professional and we have been very happy with our decision to be part of the Brookdale Wickliffe residents.
