Located close to North Old Dixie Highway, you’ll find the community is a few minutes from Sandy Pines Residential Treatment Center, and is just down the street from the Tequesta Branch Library, the Tequesta Fashion Mall, a post office, a Publix grocery store, and an abundance of restaurants. Another plus is the close proximity to many outdoor recreation areas, like the Indian River, Tequesta County Park, Jupiter Inlet Natural Area, and so much more.
Our community has been carefully designed and decorated to provide residents with a comfortable environment and overall pleasant experience. Here, residents with different cognitive levels and abilities can receive the care they need, when they need it most. Through the exclusive Clare Bridge memory care program, residents are provided with a minimum of six enriching activities daily. My mom is currently a resident at Brookdale Tequesta Memory Care and everything has been great for her at this facility. I have found everyone very welcoming and warm. This was one of the major factors in deciding on Brookdale Tequesta MC. The staff, friendliness and care services are great. It is also a very clean place. My mom is happy there. I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone in need of care.

We picked this community, because of the location, and it was close to family. It was just ok. Staff seemed to turn over often. I would recommend to others, but It would depend on their situation.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was a really good one but the community was just a little to old, quite and outdated for our family
They have an on-site physican and nurse available when needed . They have great meals, and serve-soup-salad-entree. It is clean, comfortable, and a very good place for your loved one.

Brookdale is a very good facility and the care is good. I would recommend that you do your research and make sure it fits your loved one. I would say that with any facility; and in this case one of the top considerations for me was that the community was efficient, good, and was located conveniently. Before I would recommend anyone to Brookdale or anywhere else, I'd recommend you to call A Place for Mom! I had already done research in the past; but when I called APFM so many more doors were opened, and a lot of issues were solved. And for that, I'd tell anyone to give them a call first.

they have kept my mom relatively safe and free from injury, including during 2020 (no one got Covid). have very frequent staff turnover including management. sometimes it's difficult to talk to someone on the phone, especially after hours. they do frequent over night checks and allow families to have a camera in the room (single occupancy). less resident engagement than I would like, not many activities, don't take residents for walks, maybe due to risk of injury, but I wish they would.
This was not a nice community, it was poorly run and dirty. I was shown the community by a nurse that was not very thorough and when we got here no one even knew we were coming. The cabinets were hanging off, and the bathroom was dirty.

This community seemed to be really sad and not what we wanted for our loved one. The curb appeal and everything immediately let me know that this was not the place for my loved one.

The entire team is caring attentive & responsive. The willingness to help not only the resident but the family is amazing. I have the utmost confidence that my mother is very well taken care of and if i have any concerns i have no hesitation to contact any of the team members in the community.

My loved one lived here for two years and I can not recommend it at all. The rooms (and facility) are outdated, housekeeping is almost nonexistent (not in the budget to hire them full time), the food is redundant (not enough in the budget), and high staff turnover.. not only for the CNA's but the upper management as well. Transportation to medical appointments?? Your loved one will arrive late. Yes there are a few shining stars working there but unless you want to micromanage and incur lots of stress, STAY AWAY!

High staff turnover, no variety of food, housecleaning is applying, Laundry gets ruined, no activities, There is no communication with family about outside activities and the residents are asleep out of boredom apart from bingo there is nothing.

this facility meets my loved ones' needs.
The level of care is excellent. The activities are great to keep our loved ones happy. I hope the prices don't rise to squeeze our loved one out. The private room is just what she needed. We do want more communication with her medical assessment.
my mom lived at Brookdale for almost 3 years. She was treated with dignity and respect. Some of the care providers her like their own mom- with smiles, hugs, and love. Before covid I visited my mom almost every day. I saw the everyday happenings and human interactions on a regular basis. These observations only confirmed my decision to place my mom in their hands. I trusted their care.
