Brookdale Richland Hills (MC)

Been at Brookdale for 2+ months. Very cohesive staff. Nice Director. Separate building for memory care only. Light , bright rooms, no elevator, clean. Her bed always made, and room organized (she can't do it). Good food. She broke hip and can't do anything for herself and they are helping with everything.

The experience here has been a struggle from time to time. Mostly having to do with keeping Dad showered and shaved. And his room is nearly always a mess. And of course we don't know if he has messed things up right after they have cleaned or not. But we give the staff the benefit of the doubt knowing Dad is the one messing up his room. But he tells us they are nice and take good care of him so that makes us feel like we have him in the right place. The staff is very good with Dad. He seems to like them so that gives us peace of mind. Anything we ask, they do their best to accommodate.

Good people; they care! The facility is clean and home like. Rooms are good sized and equipped with a bathroom and closet.

A good place for your loved ones. I would recommend to others. Best service and clean.

Well in the memory care section the staff let [name removed] fall going to the bathroom and let her sleep all day without making her eat. She has lost so much weight there is nothing let of her. I would not recommend that facility.

It was recommended by a friend whose mother is a resident. It's in my loved ones community and down the street from her house, church and grandson so people in this area can visit her. The facility is nice but the best part are all the caregivers. They are visible, super friendly, caring and I don't have to worry that my mother is safe and being taken care of. The nurses are also caring and communicate regularly with family. They listen to family's concerns and act on them.

I love the care and concern they always show to the residents. I truly feel they treat them as if they are their own family. I cannot express enough how I appreciate them and what they do. They are truly gifted as a staff. They never give up. They gently guide with passion , humor, and the gentle touch of angles here on earth. I can rest now , knowing my mom Is in good care. Thank u all from the bottom of my heart

It's a very clean place with a staff that has been in place for a number of years. They are very conscientious and they all seem to know who my person is and what they've been up to during the day. They volunteer that to me, I don't have to ask. It doesn't matter what status or what part of the facility they work in, they take great care of her. I can't speak highly enough of the people there.

I'm very pleased with them. I've had no major issues, and if I have any concerns or things that I would like to have done for my loved one, I can go to them and they'll take care of it for me. They're very cooperative. I like that they're a smaller community than a lot of them, and they're very responsive to any needs we have. The facility itself is great. And within their memory care, there are different levels for residents at different stages. I've had no problems with the care.
