Mom is happy there and has made good friends and feels that it is a good value.

The cleanliness was poor. I had to take a scrub brush to the shower seat to clean off the filth. The staff was friendly, but there was communication error, and they did not have a clear understanding of English or how to read the computer. Medication was improperly administered, the safety devices from the restroom to the on body monitoring were failed at times. The caregivers did not have batteries in their handheld devices to be able to respond in a timely matter. at times, my mom was not even provided a meal because they were insistent on her going into the dining hall to eat. We paid the additional service for her to have the room service because she was so nauseated and sick from the poor distribution of medication. In the three months, my mom resided there she was taken to the hospital a couple of times she had two UTIs and E. coli

My loved one was a resident at Brookdale Pecan Park and everything was great for her.

This facility from my experience is one of the better places. The industry as a whole needs attention and help. They need to attract better employees.

If you want security, care, friendliness, kindness, support, peacefulness, cleanliness, smiling faces, and just a happy atmosphere this is the place! When it is my turn for my mom.. I will have already found a place.

I moved my dad to Pecan Park after having him at two different communities that didn't measure up. The team at Pecan Park are dedicated to the happiness, health and wellbeing of their residents. I am impressed with the hands on care of management. And best of all dad enjoys living there.

Chose facility because sales staff and director showed family a caring experienced environment. Caring intent of staff was there, internal support structure wasn’t. Mgmt. changes occurred. I requested mtg. to address concerns. Concerns acknowledged, explained and plan for change put in place. Nearly every concern has been addressed and welcome improvement. Now caring staff has more tools to care for residents our family entrusted to them. Now comfortable we made the right choice.

I took care of my mother for 12 years and was unable to continue to care for her on my own. I was needing a place for her that would care for her in a loving way as much as possible. Brookdale Pecan Park has done that. Whenever I had questions none of the staff made me feel like I was bothering them. The staff are kind, good natured, patient and caring towards my mother who is 93 y.o. and has Dementia. I have visited her most every day and she even remarks how nice everyone is to her. It was a difficult journey to make this transition for me and her. The staff are so understanding and caring to the patient and the families. I am so glad to have found such a caring facility for my mother. I would encourage any family member making the difficult decision needing to place their love one in a facility to check out Brookdale Pecan Park.

This place has been great food my Mom. The staff is just awesome. The Executive Director, [name removed] and her entire staff are so loving and caring. And with very little turnover. I don't have a bad thing to say about them They work hard to build relationships with the residents and provide fun enrichment activities for them as well. You can tell they truly care. This was the right choice for us.

Customer service received at the Pecan Park is EXEMPLAR!! Upon entry of the facility the employees make you feel as well as believe that you are the most important person in the room. They are open to receiving questions. They are committed to serving you as a future resident in their community, and committed to active communication. The passion they possess is visible to the service they give.

If you’re looking for a supportive facility that pays attention to the families and their special elderly family member, look no further! Clean facility, plenty of activities, extremely supportive staff that are kind and informative; makes me want to live there! Can’t say enough great things about this amazing place and their staff. We feel confident that our family member is well cared for and their needs are met above and beyond our expectations. I have watched them care for our family member when the family member was not the most reasonable to manage. They love everybody! And they have proven it, over and over again! No one is a second rate citizen in this place!

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Pecan Park. Overall, everything has been great at this facility. The staff is engaging and patient, caring and understanding. I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone needing assistance.

I toured Brookdale Pecan Park and even signed my loved one up, but due to health changes we ended up needing to place him in hospice right after signing up. My loved one never got to live here. However, they did work with me during the tour to meet my loved one's health needs and were accommodating in meeting my financial needs. They were very friendly and helpful during the whole process. I would single out [Name removed], the Facility Manager, as being especially helpful.

The friendliness of the staff is great, and the nursing staff is exceptional!! Our loved one apartment is clean as well. There has been a lot of turnover, and the reason the activities scores so low is because the staffing turnover contributes to long non engaged periods of time. The hardest part is the turnover in caregivers, and having enough caregivers. Our loved one starts to get familiar and comfortable with someone, then they are gone. They also lost [name removed] who did activities, and are trying to cover, but its a piecemeal right now.

This facility is awesome. I worked in the hospice field for years and have a good idea of what things should be and this place is wonderful. They're very nice here. Housekeeping keeps things very nice and clean. Overall, I'm totally satisfied with the care my wife is getting here. She's had no complaints about the food. Communication with the family is good. They don't hesitate to call and are always eager to answer my questions. Her progress here has been great, she's adapting well. My wife is a natural helper and they embrace that here. They give her little jobs to do and she loves it. She's really prospering here. I was so taken with this place I didn't have to look any further. I struggled with the adjustment at first and the staff has been so understanding and good about helping me with it. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

Everyone was nice. My mom was in there 4 days went to hospital and came back for 6 days and passed away ??
