Brookdale Chambrel Roswell

8 weeks in and I am pleased. I am in independent living and my wife in the memory unit. Her care is good and the facility.good. My apartment is excellent with good cleaning etc. The meals a are beyond my expectation. The main meals have : soup, salad,3 main dishes, 3 side dishes ands dessert. All meal are multiple choice—with extras -if desired. Breakfast is buffet with special days each week for imlets,waffle, pancakes, and creamed corn beef. Many special events and always something to do. I am not an employee.

I am a resident. But, only for 6 weeks. I would encourage my friends and family to move here. Amen !

The villas need to be remodeled

I am a very active senior but can no longer drive at night and my diabetes is not well controlled. I have no nearby relatives and make decisions for myself. I reviewed about 400 senior communities in Georgia, visited 15 and Brookdale Chambrel was the one I couldn't forget. I've lived here for only two months but I am certain that I am in the right place. People and staff are consistently friendly and I can rely on assistance as needed as well as full assisted living. The meals are delicious and the kitchen could not be more accommodating. My cat and I love the generous-sized screened in porch where I can step out my porch door onto the grounds. The trees are tall and the flowers beautiful. People like it here.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell meets or exceeds my expectations. From the fresh and tasty food to the pleasant and efficient help I've been very pleased with my experience here. I recommend it highly.

We are very happy here at Brookdale Chambrel here in Roswell Ga. The facilities are well managed; the staff and other residents are very friendly. There are plenty of activities to keep us busy. [Name removed], the Activities Director and her team have great chemistry and are very good at what they do. Maintenance does a great job in responding to the needs of the residents. The accommodations are very good, comfortable and well maintained. The food is outstanding, and the service is excellent. We are in our eighth month as residents and are pleased with our new home. We were impressed with this community. Residents were very friendly. We had a great lunch with a varied menu. They provide a continental breakfast with your choice of either lunch or dinner. The facility is 31 years old however it appears to be well maintained. Staff members were personable and well informed.

We got a warm reception. [Name removed] gave us the tour. We toured two difference size apartments. Both were small and dated. Did like the screen porches. No washer and dryer in none of the apartments. The facility is very large with long halls. My wife is in a wheelchair the long halls are a concern. The Cottages and landscape need attention. We were not impressed with the tour. This is not the best fit for us.

Friendly staff. Very nice facility - older but are updating. Beautiful grounds. I really like that in case needed in the future they provide assistance with meds at Independent living as well as assisted and memory on site.

Another fairly expensive place and has amenities that are pretty good. In their package they only give the seniors two meals per day. Their place needs updating and they are in the process of doing so. They do have a wonderful menu based on reading their menu.

Lovely campus.... Friendly, satisfied residents... good food...

Very large facility, with long halls and walkways. The residents were very friendly and I had a nice long conversation with a long time resident that was very happy living there. The buildings and grounds need a little TLC, and the the apartments I was shown were adequate. There are screened in porches or patios which are a big plus. For my mom who is recovering from a stroke and still in a wheelchair the long halls are a concern. I would recommend considering this to anyone who is still very active.

Great community. Living there would be a blessing.

I visited Brookdale Chambrel's Memory Care facility. They were very well organized and the facility is beautiful. Especially impressed with the open, airy feel. The programs here seem exceptionally well thought out and are highly rated.

We loved the spacious living areas and the cost effective rates. The staff and residents were very friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent community. We like the staff is caring. The menu is very good with a lot of nice choices of healthy meals.They do have a lot of activities for her to participate. She likes the cottage and the environment of the community. We would recommend this community for the good care and value for others

It has been a great experience for my mother with her move into this community. She is doing well, and this community is working out well for her, and her needs.

My mother has lived in this community for a year now. It is a very old community and the common areas do need updating. They have somewhat updated the apartments which are acceptable. They offer a lot of activities to keep my mom busy if she chooses. The food is my biggest gripe. They do not have a chef on the property. The meals are very inconsistent and the portion size varies daily. Some meals are good while others are inedible. My mother no longer cooks so her main meal for the day absolutely needs to be edible. I think this property still has a lot of work to do.

[Removed] didn't seem very knowledgeable about all we asked. Loved the place and the units - property is a plus.

The tour itself was fine and I was wiling to put mom here and they initial gave me the impression that they would accept my parents. When the staff evaluated my mom they stood with a clipboard just looked at her for 5 minutes then left. Later they called me to let me know she was not able to move in. They put me in a bad situation and I was not pleased.
