Brookdale Austintown

I feel Brookdale is the very best Alzheimer's facility around.

Great place. Lots of help(people). Quiet. I have recommended to a lot of people if they ever need that type of care. The community is excellent.

What our family likes the most about Brookdale Austintown is how all the staff members relate to the residents. Always respectful, sometimes joking always kind. We also like how we can come whenever we want, bring our pets and eat together in a separate area

My father has been at Brookdale Austintown for more than a year. It is a small community of residents that make my father more than just a number. The staff is excellent at communicating special events, changes, and updates. Billing is straightforward. I very much feel that my father is well cared for. I would happily recommend this facility to others.

Brookdale has been a blessing in a very challenging time when we placed mom. They were very compassionate and understanding. I love the fact that I can talk to every staff member and they can relate info to me about my mom and how she is doing.

I've seen a lot of facilities. Brookdale surpassed all of them so far ahead that I have no idea who might have been in second place you couldn't see them. Think carefully about what is ahead for your family member. Brookdale does cost more no doubt about it. But is it worth it oh my goodness you could never ask for a better place.

We cannot rate the activities because our loved one has not participate in them. However, what we like the most about the Brookdale Austintown community is the people that work there. The staff members are really great. I feel like they really get to know our loved one and so far have taken good care of her.

Our experience at Brookdale has been very good. All the staff are very kind, knowledgeable, caring, and always have time to answer our questions and keep us well informed how our family member is doing.

From the moment we walked in this place we loved it. The staff is so kind and helpful. They real care about the patients. Highly recommend.

I think they do a great job dealing with the dementia and I think my father-in-law is in the best place for him. [name removed] was wonderful & full of information & help as we made the transition. They have been very welcoming to us as a family, which makes it really nice for visits. I love the food, even though my father in law says he can't always taste it very well. They have had some staff turnover which makes it hard for continuity of care, and we've had some issues around his bladder (first they were insisting he wear disposable underwear when he didn't need it, then when he did need it they were laundering it instead of disposing) & some issues with laundry not being done in a timely fashion (esp his sheets) but overall I feel like he's in a safe & caring atmosphere.

The staff has been helpful to our familiy. Our uncle is often irratable, and uses bad language. We appreciate the patience shown to him. Meals could be seasoned more for his taste.

She is happy!! and that is due to kind, caring and respectfulness of the staff. Friendly staff, helpful answers, all questions with a smile and if they don't know the answer they get right back to you with the answer.

Thankful that she is in a good place and she seems so much happier.

Emergency health issues had us transfer an out of state relative. Evaluation found the need for memory care. Brookdale was mentioned by a friend. So happy we're now here. Exceptional
