I think Bristol provided excellent, personalized care for my mom. After searching for a place that would provide the level and kind of care my mom needed, I think I found what she needed at Bristol. So many of the caretakers took time to give her personalized attention.

The staff at Bristol Park at Amarillo have been accommodating for our needs when it is brought to their attention. They do need more staff, but that seems like a dilemma at all facilities. Overall I would recommend this facility to others looking.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are very respectful to all of the residents. My loved one says the food is a whole lot better than the other place she resided. Communication with us has been good. Maintenance sometimes is lacking/slow. Of all of the the places available in our area, Bristol Park is the best.

We chose Bristol Park at Amarillo because of the friendliness of the staff, happiness of current residents there, the ease to access staff regarding any questions or concerns and pricing. The staff have been great and always make sure residents make it to meals and activities provided.

I would recommend it. I had a very very bad experience with another care facility in Amarillo and when I started visiting new places I was very pleased with what Bristol had. I wish it could be less expensive but I realize all of these facilities cost a whole lot.

From the time you walk in the door of this well appointed facility and are greeted by the friendly smiling face at the reception desk you begin to feel at home. We visited to see if this might be a good residence for my brother who is needing assisted living. We were introduced to the marketing director who almost immediately became a long lost friend. Professional, couteous, and responive to our needs. Our tour helped us make a decision quickly. My brother will become a resident the [date removed] of this month and we couldn't be happier about that.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but from everything we saw we deciding this wouldn't be the most suitable place for our loved one
Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience however due to our loved one health they were not able to accept her
Bristol park has been a cost effective opportunity to get the care that my loved one needs. He has improved as a result of being here and he is still not very thrilled with being there but making it through. They had a problem with flooding in the winter and the work out room is in the process of a remodel due to this issue. They have some sun activities during the week for the residents and more for them to do to stay busy. They have also gotten my loved one to all of his appointments. It proved to be a quite economical place and we are saving in the process compared to other communities.

There are extremely friendly staff at this community. They have poor corporate management. The staff do the best that they can with what it is that they have to work with. The staff communicate with me well in regards to my loved one and their needs its just corporate that lacks.

It is a nice community. The staff is good to work with if I have questions or concerns about my loved one. My loved doesn't care for the food. Bingo, chapel, exercise classes, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.

The community is going through a rough patch. They've had a change of staff, busted pipe and non working hot water heater. Bingo, and music playing are some of the activities available for the residents.

We really liked Bristol Park, it was a super cute set up. She would have been able to access the outdoor area from her room which would have been a plus, but the rooms were very small. They do allow smoking at this facility.
They have staffing problems. The management team is excellent. The bill is different each month, so I have to call to rectify this each time. Having spoke to friends and acquaintances in Amarillo the care is all about the same at the different communities. You just have to stay on top of the care.

Awesome place! Dining room is open 7a-7p. Restaurant style. Residents can eat their meals whenever they want. Apartment has a private door to the outside courtyard. The Community Fee is[fee removed]. !!! That’s just crazy! We were able to negotiate it down. Price is higher than the amount on the information provided by A Place For Mom.

When touring Memory Care facilities for my Dad with Parkinson's Disease, the Bristol Park at Amarillo was very high on my list! While touring I could tell the staff loved their residents and treated them with dignity and respect.

We chose Bristol Park because of the head chef here. He made special meals just for my mom since she was Japenese. When she was in rehab, he even made sushi and sent it over to her. He and my mom had a great relationship. Her favorite part about the community was always meal time. She had a one bedroom and it was good size for her. I would definitely recommend.

A Place for Mom has scored Bristol Park at Amarillo 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
