Please do not take a loved one there. Understaffed, new administrator and office help leave you on hold until you hang up, many things stolen from there. Lunchroom windows were filthy, could not even see out. It must be years since washed. The service van doesn't run after 5:00 and we were left stranded to get back from the doctor's until they called someone for overtime. No heat in this van.

Our Mother passed away recently, after spending the last 15 months of her life in Assisted Living of Brentwood of Hobart. I cannot say enough good things about Brentwood. The staff were outstanding, caring, and compassionate. Our Mother loved the food, the entire place was spotless, and we felt that our Mother was safe and receiving very good care.

Positives: The staff is great. Room for improvement: Food is never warm, they need metal food covers to keep it warm. They have big screen movies on Wednesdays and Sunday's with comfortable chairs for the residents. The room size that my loved one has in memory care is great! It is a huge room. The amenities offered are just ok. I Think they work really really hard to make it as nice as possible for the residence but memory care is just a very difficult job. I give all credit to those workers they are angels. I just don't think I could do that job. It's just very hard by the time you get to memory care. It is a wonderful place

They have all been good. My loved one was in there for repsite care, and was well taken care of. There was no issues with the staff, and it's a good place. My loved one did not complain about the food.

The Staff, and residents seems to be nice. We picked this place because it was within budget, offered thee meals per day, activities, and the amout was what we wanted/ could afford. Also, it is near other family members.

The tour was great. We were going to do respite here but decided to place him somewhere else.
The community is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The community has a homey feel and they have lots going on in the community. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We chose Brenwood at Hobart because of the convenient location to family. She has a 1 bedroom and it is a very nice size for her. The staff have been really goo with communication, I talk to them at least once a week right now. She is loving the food here. I would tell others to make sure to wear your name badges so that way everyone can get to know you by name. I would absolutely recommend to other families.

The community is nice. The services they provide are for a reasonable price. I find the staff to be helpful. They have done a good job. I was able to eat food with my loved one the first day. I believe my loved one enjoys the food, and would like to request specifically what they want to eat. Brentwood does provide menus for the residents to choose from.

It is a smaller place. My aunt was happy there. The have a nurse on staff 24/7. The food was okay. They are able to work with dietary needs. Room sizes are nice, we had a one bedroom with good size bathroom and two closets. Not much outdoor space. You can sit our front and they have a little place out back. The staff was good. Management was pro active.They have a safe in each room for valuables. Overall we liked it and would recommend Brentwood to others.

My parents have been there for a month and have not been happy with the place yet. The apartment was not ready when it was supposed to be and they had an extra few weeks. They had no hot water. It was just almost warm, They get their breakfast late and my mom is diabetic. They have mentioned this a few times. Brentwood new about her diabetes before they even got there. The air conditioner does not work in the living room and if they use the ones in the bedrooms to cool off the living room than the bedrooms get way to cold. The maintenance guy knows about it. He told them it probably needed Freon and he would have someone in Monday to take care of it. That was 2 weeks ago and they are still waiting. They limit the amount the windows can be opened so that does not help. Communication amongst the staff is awful. My parents will tell them they will not be down for a meal the day before and instead of checking that it was written on the menu paper they come up and knock on the door to see if they are coming down for the meal. They had no cable when they moved in. It was not set up for them, They went the whole weekend without TV, so they were bored. Luckily I had some movies they would like and brought them over. They really have not had a good experience here.

My sister in law and brother in law are in this facility. The food needs an up grade and also my sister in law was promised certain services and is not getting them.

I am moving my father into this community. The community is bright and happy and cheerful. They staff are very upbeat and always try and make you feel at home. My father is liking the activities that will benefit him. I am sure that he will be happy here. I liked that the other residents look so very happy and that makes me feel safe to know that he will have excellent care.

My father is doing well there, he recently moved from the assisted living to the Memory care and it was a smooth transition. My father is joining activities and is very happy. Hopefully your mother will continue to feel more and more at home, making new friends and participating in the activities, parties and outings.
My loved one seems to be gaining weight with the food they are providing her so they defiantly have some nutritious meals at this community. As far as the staff goes I am very pleased with the marketing director and a lady named [Removed], however I am very disappointing with the overall care my loved one has been receiving. They have been providing her basic needs but other than that they do not do much. I have found my aunt in bed before seven which is way to early for her and have many times caught the aids just lounging around on there phones. I hope some improvements will be made in the future as I am very concerned with this facility.
