Bethesda Ranch AFH

We chose Bethesda Ranch because of the caregiver's eagerness to help not only my loved one but me and my family. It was also close to home. But it wouldn't have mattered. He was only going there. The staff is very caring and accommodating to the residents and their families. You can call or visit any time. They go above and beyond for their patients and consider it just a part of the job.

I would give them all a 5 stars based on our experience so far. It was before Covid so they did a lot of activities. So happy I took my Dad there. Yes it was expensive but way better than a nursing home and that was going to cost a little more. They are wonderful people and we would definitely recommend Bethesda Ranch to other families!

It's so family oriented facility, where the residents are treated like one of the family. Care is second to none. We liked the smallness and the people that cared for my mother, and also the, country setting on a lake.

Bethesda Ranch does a lot of work for my wife which we really appreciate it and she watches tv with good ratings. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Bethesda Ranch advertises to the Dutch community in Kalamazoo - do not be fooled, the care is provided by untrained staff who do not give full effort to the residents. My brother was there and ultimately got the flu and died - no flu shot, no rubber gloves, poor sanitation. The Mols are friendly but ;azu and the place is very dirty.

Finally found the perfect place for my dad! No negatives at all. Having a registered nurse run the house is a great big plus! Love that they take the residents on outings too.

What is not to LOVE? Our family member had lived in several AFC homes before we found Bethesda Ranch. He now has a forever home and a forever family. He has been connected to Bethesda Ranch for over 5 years now. This family cares for and loves on your family member as if they were part of their own family. Exceptional love and care and individualized - it just doesn't get any better than this. You get what you pay for. There are outings, family parties, transportation... they truly go above and beyond for your loved one! The home is always clean and the staff friendly and caring as well. Finally! I found the right home for my Dad. I really appreciate all the special care he receives at Bethesada. His room is private and beautiful, overlooking a lake. They do activities, take him out, and sit with him every meal to make sure he does eat. Open door policy so my large family can visit at any time. By far best AFH I've ever been in.

Finally, I found the perfect place for my dad. I can't say enough about the personal care he receives there. He's been there awhile now and not one time was he lying in bed in his room alone. They keep him busy, take him out, sits and eats meals with him. I love the open door policy. We can come and go as many times as we want. We have a large family and they all love it there. We always feel so welcomed. Highly recommend!

This is a waterfront property with large windows and a beautiful view of the lake. The seasonal flowers and bird feeders provide a relaxing environment. Five well appointed guest/resident rooms provide amenities needed. This place excels in cleanliness and features consistent caregivers that are experienced and kind. This places offers a family type environment and has various restaurant trips and musical presentations for residents. Pet friendly, visitor friendly, and overall a well managed facility for your loved one. I appreciate having the same caregiver for family.

By far the best home care environment that you can place your family member or loved one in. Family owned and operated. Every member of the family takes an active part in caring for your loved one. What a bonus that the nurse lives on site. Excellent facilities, and equipment. Stryker beds in every room. Weekly outings for lunch twice a week. You can stop in any time to visit, day or night. Always a friendly, family environment. Thank you for taking such great care of my mom.

Beautiful, warm, caring, small, very personalized care. Very much involved with the care of each individual that is with them. Family community oriented for all.

My tour of this community went well overall. It is a nice place, the staff was kind. The community looked nice, and well-kept from what I saw. It was a good experience overall, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.
