For the last 4 or 5 months my Aunt was being "cared for" by [name removed] falsely accused family members and close friends of lying, stealing and harassing my aunt. [name removed] refused to let anyone visit my aunt, changed her door lock, changed her phone numbers, changed her checking account, canceled hospice (my aunt had uterine cancer) and refused hospital care when my aunt developed an open wound. These are all verifiable via APS. These are listed as red flags on the Adult Protective Services website. Several reports were made to APS, but nothing was done. The manager is aware of R's operations and does nothing to protect the residents. When this present manager came to his position, he cancelled all of the social gatherings that were in place at the time my aunt originally moved in. Restrictions were made regarding visitors of residents; they were only allowed in the resident's own apartment and not in any of the common areas.

This place is terrible. Managers are unprofessional, if they don't like you they give you notice to vacate with no reason whatsoever. When we inquired, they refused to speak to us and slammed the phone down. That's not even the worst part because I'm really glad actually that my grandma is leaving this place. My grandma became disoriented after a Dr. Appointment and lost her way in the hallways. We were searching everywhere for her and asked the managers to put the word out to the onsite workers in case someone saw her, such as maintenance people etc. who have walkie talkies, they would not look at security cameras, nothing. They refused our request 3 times in a very rude and unprofessional manner and said call the police, we will not help you. These "managers" are horrible, uncaring, rude, unprofessional jerks! Don't send your elderly loved ones here!!

That was a bad situation. My parents were illegally evicted from them. It was not good.
