Great staff, beautiful rooms and common areas, very caring individuals work here and all work together to make sure every resident is well-cared for, takes part in activities and is well-fed. Owners are fantastic and treat residents like family. Always fun activities including unusual celebrations and entertainment, pizza night food is delivered from local pizza restaurant. If someone is sick, they call the doctor and family immediately. I cannot say enough good things about the place! They have my mom participating in activities when she would not participate at her last facility.

Room was beautiful, expensive , but great. The food was fabulous. One of the nurses was not nice at all and flat out rude to my husband who is my sister’sPCP. My sister did tell the owner about her. My sister and all those who first arrive are greeted warmly with a red carpet! They have done a beautiful job refurbishing the place. Very homey.

The facility was clean and the units were large. The night staff was wonderful. They didn't install locks on the doors until after my mother eloped and was found under a bush, in 36 degree temperatures. No one could tell me how long she had been put there. Another resident was also attempting to leave that same evening. Several times she was in the same clothes and it was evident she hadn't been changed...I visited almost daily and would then do whatever was necessary. My mother passed March 15 at Beehive. Very limited interactions with management at that time. A few days after her passing, we were in her unit packing up and it was obviously a sad situation however management was directly across the small hallway selling that room. It was uncomfortable to say the least...possibly wait 30 mins next time?!?! There were a few very caring staff members however the nurse in charge on days seemed indifferent and overall I wouldn't classify them as memory care, even if their license indicates.

Country Oaks - Now ‘Beehive’ I was searching for a place for a family friend. Beehive was a great fit for this friend! It’s smaller and more close knit. I love how everyone knows each other . Everyone sits together and eats their meals together. It’s clean and updated and most of all SAFE. Staff is attentive! The owner and administrator are wonderful to work with. I also love that it’s a franchise and not corporate owned and operated. Thank you Beehive for the love and support you showed my family and the love one we placed there! I will be recommending you again!

We were so blessed to find Beehive Senior living. Placing a love one is so hard. Beehive made the decision easier. It’s a wonderful place with very kind and loving people. The owners are very helpful and hands on (they work along side their staff) The staff are very helpful and attentive. The facility is small with a feeling of being in a family There is a chef on staff that makes all their wonderful meals from scratch. All the residents eat in a dining room together. Which is wonderful to watch them interact and not feel alone I would recommend Beehive to anyone that needs to place a loved one

My stay at Country Oak Village (now known as Beehive Assisted Living ) has been very satisfactory. A new owner is currently remodeling the facility and we (the residents) are excited about the progress and are anxious for completion! The size is on the smaller side and there are a "just right number of residents." Staff members are very friendly and attentive to the needs of individual residents. I live here with my little rat terrier [name removed] . If you need assisted living it's a great place to be!

We picked this community, because of the small number of residents, cleanliness, observed interactions between staff and residents, nice rooms, good reviews, reasonable price, and close to my home. I would recommend to other families.

I like our Senior Living community with the building nested in a housing area. Neighbors keep their lawns trimmed and neat as does County Oak living. The building is not of overwhelming size and the numbers of residents gives a leisure of friendships and closeness if desired. The residents interact mostly in a pleasant and courteous manor with each other and staff. The staff, manager, nurses, cook, kitchen manager, housekeeping etc are caring and work together well with each other and with our residents. The food is good quality and prepared well. I'm so thankful for all those who are so accommodating and helpful with my needs, adjusting for my several gastric patterns, whether purchasing, preparing or suggesting foods I can eat. We have exercise classes, Bingo, Bible class, different musical groups and individuals -- also those of kind and sharing hearts that bring goodies and fun for us. My room is of satisfactory size and is clean and accommodating for my personal creative comforts. The rooms we share - the lounge, library, dining room and all nicely decorated as well as halls are maintained in orderly and feel comfortable and clean. Our manager [name removed] is responsible to most all requests of residents, both personal and room maintenance as possible. She shows in so many ways that she is caring, sensitive and comformative. She helps us to feel like a family!

short staffed, VERY basic, rooms & common area very 'sterile' and institutional feeling. Did not have any handouts, information we could take except a very basic brochure that staff copied down prices into. When we asked about activities, we were told they do a bible study on Thurs afternnon' and nothing more. We are not at all interested here

This community looked ok when I visited. The staff I met were nice. This community just did not seem clean enough or the right place for my mom.

My mother has her own room at this house that is spacious and perfect for her needs. The staff are friendly and make sure to attend to my mothers needs. They have a chef who prepares three different meals a day for them and a great dinning room experience. This facility has a "family" feeling. There is always room for some improvement but, so far, everything is going well and we are happy.

I toured this community for care for my mom.The staff was very nice and they were helpful for the questions I had on the care for my mom's need. This community was a little bigger then what I was looking for. I would recommend this community for other families for a value for care for a loved one.

It was a good place to tour and all was okay with what they provide. There was not much to improve on their tour but this was not going to be the right fit. I noticed there was quite a bit of residents here and the carpet looked like it needed a little vacuuming.

I recently visited this facility and was very impressed with the looks of the facility. It is a small place and appeared to be very down to earth and homey. Staff was very freindly and interacted with other residents and staff. The menus for the meals looked really good and the meal that had that day looked wonderful and presented well. I highly recommend this facility.

My Mom,my sister and myself went here Tuesday. It was clean, dark in the lobby and a lot of people sitting in front of the TV starring off. My Mom was agitated while we were there and kept asking how much it was and kept repeating it was too much, she couldn’t afford it. I believe it was the atmosphere when we walked in that bothered her.

A Place for Mom has scored Beehive Homes of Grain Valley 8.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
