Blue Hills Rest Home

I would highly recommend Bule Hills Rest Home. It feels like a family setting, not institutional. My mother in law likes the food. They have outdoor space. Layout and room sizes are good. Staff helpful. We have had a good experience.

Every time we go into Blue Hills, it seems very clean. There is always staff on site making sure the space is spotless. Everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful. They are good people! Blue Hills is a great value and the care is wonderful for the price. My mother has fallen a couple of times and the care giving staff has always been right there to immediately help her. We personally have not eaten on-site, however we have seen the dinner plates and the food always looks good. They clearly eat well here! Blue Hills is a great place and we are very comfortable having my mother there!

I don't know any place else where the residents are treated so well. The staff is great, very caring. I have met the administrator and she treats everyone there like family. I certainly felt like family when I was there. I recommend Blue Hills Rest Home.

I have been happy with the care of this community. We have been happy with all of the staff who care caring and attentive. The community is clean and we have been more than pleased with everything here at this community. They have been very helpful for her needs. We would recommend other families for this care and the value.

I thought the staff at this community was really great and made sure to give us a detailed tour of the home. They had an activity program in place for all of the residents and a meal plan that provides them three meals a day. They just did not have any private rooms available and that would not work out for my mother and her needs. Other than that I have no complaints.

My mother said that if she ever had to go back to a community, the Blue Hills Rest Home is where she would want to go. During her initial short stay, the staff treated her very well. The ladies were very sweet and accommodating. The only complaints that she had was her roommate was hard of hearing, so she would have the television too loud. Also, she had to share the bathroom with 4 other people.

I was not impressed with this community and the environment they had in there complex. Everything was very depressing and gloomy inside. The place was beaten up pretty bad and seemed like it had not been updated in years. I cut my tour pretty short after seeing just a short amount of the facility.

Blue Hills was the best choice we made in finding a home for our Mom. For over a year, they took great care of all her needs and loved her as part of their family. I went every week and they always made me feel right at home. As Mom's needs changed, they were always prepared to handle them. As her time drew to the end, they helped to manage her pain and keep her comfortable. I can never thank them enough for their care of Mom. I truly will miss all the friendly people that I met there.

This is a very lovely community and we are very pleased. This community is very clean and looks great. The staff is great, they have been very helpful and kind to my mother. She is trying some new activities they offer. Everything is working very well and they are caring for her very well and I would recommend it.

So far it's wonderful. They have been very, very helpful. She loves the food here. It's small enough, that they don't lose track of their residents. They have a camera system, everywhere but the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone is really friendly. Four sisters went to the tour, and we all walked away agreeing that it was awesome, and we still do.

This place is wonderful. All of the people that work there are super nice, it is very reasonibly price and the care my dad is receiving is the best anyone could ask for. It is a home like setting, so I think it is much quieter than a nursing facility. The medical care he is receiving is top of the line as far as I am concerned. Marie at the facility is wonderful for advise with forms that need to be filled out and prescriptions that need to be reordered. The nurses are all very friendly and advise you like you are one of their family members. I never have to wonder how things are going they stay in close contact and keep us up to date on everything. I just cannot say enough good things about these people. Oh, one more thing the food is wonderful, prepared right there in their own kitchen and that is a real plus.

The food is good, I would say it is five. They do a really good job. It can be difficult to leave sometimes, but most of the time they do a really good job of distracting her for us. It would be nice if there was a proactive approach to that, maybe when families come in they could have an idea of when they need someone to help distract them.

This is a great home. All the residents are treated with upmost respect. It is like living in your our home. Food and nurses are wonderful. I would say if you have to place your love one in a nursing home this is the place to take them.
