Bear Creek Assisted Living

I picked this facility because the building and apartments are lovely and the people in charge seem to care deeply about the residents.

What we like most about Bear Creek Assisted Living is the helpful and attentive staff, beautiful grounds and facility. In house medical care. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

It is a wonderful place for a parent if they have minimal care needs. I wish my parents had made this move years ago.We picked this community because, they were able to accommodate both my parents and it was close to my home.

The staff members are very caring, the senior staff in particular, always comes though when there is a crisis. There is a wide variety of engaging activities for the residents to participate in. Only significant downside is that there has been some turnover and periodic staffing issues especially on the weekends which leads to a variety of problems.

My loved one is happy with the activites. There is much more social interaction, and it's a very welcoming environment. They have addressed all needs within apartment, including any replacements that were needed. It has been an enjoyable living experience for my loved one. They guided them through the process. The staff is always around. I chose this place because, I knew the care was going to be there. I also, recommended this palce to a neighbor.

I would definitely refer someone there is they needed a place to put a loved one there. The staff are friendly, welcoming, address me by my name. They all say hi when I come visit. They are helpful. This is a locked memory care unit. They offer arts and crafts, bingo for activities. They combine residents and listen to live music with the assisted living along with exercise. They offer physical therapy as well as occupational. They have an online portal you can pay the rent on. They have lifeloop to notify you of the calendar, attendance, etc.

We had a very good first impression with Bear Creek, the individuals we first spoke with on the tour seemed to be very knowledgeable, willing to work with us and very accommodating. Also their prices were ever so slightly lower then other communities, and the location is very convenient for our family which is very important.

The community seems very active and engaged. The responsiveness, care, protocols and I've had nothing but good especially during the pandemic. They have been good. The person at the front desk knows where my loved one is there all the time. My loved one had some concerns about the menu being diabetic friendly. The community uses an app to keep us updated on what activities my loved one has attended.

We have been very pleased with the community and all the information and updates we get from them. The director there is a sweetheart, it is a lovely facility and they are very convenient which is always a plus.

The rooms at this community were very spacious, and very private. Our loved one seemed to like the food they served. We would recommend this community for assisted living, but we would not recommend it for those with more of a serious medical condition.

The community is very well kept up. The people are very warm and caring and we really couldn't have expected any more than what we got from Bear Creek. They have a fairly good range of actives available for the residents to participate in. My dad was pretty happy with the food as well. Bear Creek Assisted Living was a great option for my father and we have been very pleased with the community and the staff.

The housekeeping staff at Bear Creek does come every day to clean and my loved one is very happy with it. The care giving staff is very helpful and caring with the residents. The price tag is a little on the high size, however the care is good. The care giving staff takes good care of the residents, however they seem to have trouble with organizing some services like physical therapy. Previous to Covid-19, there seemed to be plenty of activities available to the residents. We feel the community has done a good job with keeping residents safe during the Covid-19 lock down, bringing residents food to their rooms and giving them activities like books to read to keep them busy.

I would say that it was a really hard adjustment for my father at 93 years old. The sales person was really good at what she does and made it and easy choice for me. I chose it because the location was close to my house. I would suggest to people that they need to stay on top of things and be there family member's advocate. The staff were willing to work with us and do whatever we would ask them to do.

Bear Creek has been very good to us. They are doing the best they can keeping us informed and doing extra cleaning during this quarantine for Covid -19. My mom likes the food service and the physical help she has been getting with her daily activities. The staff has been helping my mom adjust and to familiarize her with the activities. We like the smaller size of the community it is easier for her to make friends. We chose this community because it is close to where she use to live to make it easier for people to come visit her.
