Avita of Stroudwater

Overall, they did a good job with taking care of my father. The staff was very accommodating and have been sending lots of emails regarding the status of the community as the result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The community is very expensive.

I was not impressed with the sales director that took us on tour. They did not seem professional. This community is a complete lockdown community and we felt our loved one was not ready for this type of community.

Our tour with [Removed] was excellent. She was very informative and sensitive to our needs and questions. The facility seems like a great option so we are going to move forward with a deposit to get the ball rolling. I left a message yesterday but will stop there today to see what is next. Thank you so much for your help!

They did try to take good care of my loved one. They offered daily activities and the community was clean. The food was good. My loved one was only there for a short time as we realized he needed more care than they were able to provide. They oversold themselves on the care that was available. They gave out incorrect information in regard to some programs that may have been available. I would recommend asking about the security at this community.

Beautiful facility! However, if you have a loved one that can be very difficult at times or extremely angry and confused; this lovely place may or may not be for them. My family is in their first month and my father is very confused and tries to hurt himself. Please wish us the best to find him a place where it can be strong enough to handle the utmost ill condition.

My 94-year old Mom is currently in assisted living but needs more one-on-one care. I was very impressed by Avita, especially the fact that they don't just give prospective residents the first available room, but evaluate and place them in the most appropriate "community" within the facility. The staff interacted with the residents constantly and prompted, prodded and cajoled them to leave their rooms and participate in meals and activities. Since this is the first place I've looked at, it will be a while before a decision is made, but Avita is definitely on the list

Everything is going very well for my wife since her move to this community. She is safe, and being cared for very well. I'am pleased with all they have done for us.

All that the staff do for my wife is going well. She has daily housekeeping and maintenance with laundry service and there has been no concerns with her room. She likes the meals which includes 3 meals served family style. They also has good snacks available all day for the residents.

I cannot say enough good things about Avita! My family member told me recently, "I like it here," what a relief. When our family and friends visit they are impressed by the settings and the staff; ever present and comforting in addressing a horrible disease. Most importantly, my family member is more relaxed and comfortable in the Avita setting then they ever were over the last year in the home, a true testament to the staff's professionalism.

The people at Avita make my wife's experience the best it can be. They are compassionate and skilled in managing her memory related issues and providing me a steady stream of updates about her days and nights.

Moved my Dad to Avita a month ago. He has adjusted easily and is enjoying his new home. Staff is great, very responsive to him and any inquiries I make. He is feeling confident about his surroundings and security - his phone calls to me have dropped significantly - from 3 to 4 times a day to once or twice a week and not because of an issue, sometime just to chat.

Mom has only been at Avita of Stroudwater a month. We are still learning some things as mom hasn't been here too long. The people are very attentive to moms needs and wishes. So far so good. We are pleased overall.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Avita of Stroudwater! I really can't think of a single negative thing to say about them, I'd rate them 5+ across the board! They're really great about communicating with families, and concerns or input I've had for them they've really taken to heart and made changes. I would highly recommend this place!

It has been great here. Food is great. They have the best Whoopie Pies! I have had a great experience here at the Avita of Stroudwater. My loved one is well taken care of. The staff has been friendly and kind. The facility is well maintained and clean. The value is also great. They have many activities. The Avita of Stroudwater is an excellent community with 5 star services. I am very impressed by this place!

Our experience with Avita of Stroudwater has been a positive one overall. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout the whole move-in process, and went out of their way to make sure both our loved one and our family were comfortable with the move.

They do a great job here overall. The facility itself is very nice, and always clean, and the staff have all been very friendly and helpful. They did a great job making my loved ones transition into senior living as easy as possible. They really went out of their way to accommodate her and make her comfortable.
