I have been living her for over 3 years, and moved here from another Atria. The people are great - both staff and the people who live here. I enjoy playing bingo and love the lasagne dish. They keep the place clean.... Read more

Thank you to [name removed], [name removed] and the entire staff and residents for making a difficult life-changing decision for our father into an easy move and exciting new opportunity for him. The personal touch and consideration for my father in the process made the decision to move into Atria Evergreen Valley the very best experience.

It wasn’t easy to place my mom in any assisted living. She had her routine and preferences and I wanted her to still be able to make choices. [name removed], the executive director at Atria Evergreen follows thru with our care in order to personalize her care. My mom wanted help with showers in the morning versus later in the day.? Done. Mom wanted raisin bread for breakfast? Done. Mom’s carpet needed steam-cleaning and her bathroom thoroughly cleaned? Done. Mom wanted to personally speak with [name removed]? Done. From the front desk ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed]) to the maintenance department ([name removed] and [name removed]), to the med team ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]), to the caregiving department and to the housekeeper [name removed], everyone has been very caring and accommodating!! I am so grateful for the Atria team, that they are able to help my mom get comfortable in her new home. No place is perfect but the staff at Atria Evergreen are kind and full of smiles. Thanks also to [name removed]. Call her.

It was too far from me and not a good fit for my loved one.
Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice high quality tour but it was just far to expensive for us
I didn’t like the fact that there were apartments upstairs and downstairs - it made it feel more like a standard apartment complex. I just didn’t get a warm and friendly feeling when we visited. And the apartments were older.
The staff is wonderful, the grounds are clean, the rules are a bit strict with visitors but the 2 Directors (women) are rude, inconsiderate and do not want to be bothered by residents that have an issue here or there. Do NOT put your loved ones in here.

Understaffed, as best as they can, they do the best care, food, etc. They let people go who are caring and want to help and keep the wrong ones who don't want to help residents. Don't pay enough for this area.

I would tell others to look into the community as this is a nice place. The staff communication is very good with the family. There are activities available for the residents. There is a dining room on premise, along with a bistro place.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. The staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great information. I learned a lot by touring this community.
I've recommended a couple of people to Atria, and overall I'm very happy with them. Mostly it's because of the care staff. The girls on the floor who are taking care of my loved one are truly compassionate. They really care, and it shows. They try to keep the residents pretty busy with activities on the memory care side. The food is pretty bland. Sometimes there are things that are pretty good, but it tends to be kind of bland, cafeteria food. As far as value, I think they do a good job, but I just can't understand how it costs so much money. I would expect larger rooms and 24-hour care at that rate.

This really is a first class place, they have been working so hard during the pandemic to keep everything clean and safe. All the staff members are excellent and very professional. Having never been to the facility, the staff was able to get us hooked up with a good pharmacy. Our loved one actually really loves the food there, she is so happy with the activities. She was very isolated in the beginning, and now she is really enjoying herself. All the residents are so nice and she just loves the activities.

There are lots of options of activities for the residents to choose from. Our biggest issue was that the community told us my loved one could be there through end of life. It turns out that they couldn't care for our loved one, and we had to move them to another a community.

This pandemic has been really scary. It was very devastating not being able to see my mom. Atria helped my family stay together by providing Family Facetime/video calls, window visits and finally socially distant patio visits. Thank you Atria Evergreen Valley for keeping my mom and all the residents safe during these rough times!

A Place for Mom has scored Atria Evergreen Valley 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
