I liked this community. I was just looking for something more modern for my loved one. I had a love one that lived here and I liked the apartments its just a little more dated and some of the furnishings are older also. That was just not my loved ones style and did not leave a good impression for her. They are great people there and the price is good and the location was good but my loved one liked another community more. The tour was great but just some of the building seemed dated.
They do not make any accommodations when it comes to the meals - they do not pay attention to those who have dietary restrictions or allergies. The community could also be more accommodating for the money.

We chose Brentwood Estates because the friendliness of the staff members, the meals that were being provided, and also the cost over some of the others that we looked into. The apartment sizes are good, they have quite a variety as well. Some things that were promised up front were not followed through with. The residents who are here are very great and welcoming to new people who are coming in, so huge kidos to them, they have made her feel very welcome. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.

We could not have been more happy than we were with Brentwood Estates. The value is awesome and the staff members here were overly accommodating and friendly. The meals were really good as well, they are chef prepared meals. I would highly recommend to others that are looking.

The community is clean, and the staff members are friendly. The meals could be a little bit better and the activities are still pretty limited with the covid restrictions. I also think the value for cost is a little high but alright.

Brentwood Estates is a very clean community and the staff members are extremely friendly. I really like the privacy you get here, nobody here gets into other peoples business. The meals they serve are great, the activities are excellent and we have a wonderful activities director.

I called A Place for Mom, and they referred me to Brentwood Estates. I was immediately put into contact with the marketing contact there, and she is awesome. She does a wonderful job. The last time I was up there, we had an issue with our loved one's money. She happened to be walking through the lobby when I was there to take care of it, and she was very gracious and offered to help. If you ever need help, give her a call, and she'll help get you in touch with the proper person and get you the info you need to resolve your problem. I know that housekeeping comes once a week to clean the residents' apartment. The staff, the young people who help deliver food to the rooms and run the dining room and such, are wonderful. They're very good at it, and very sweet about what they do. The managers are a married couple, and they've both been very good at what they do as well. Every time I've asked for their help, they've been great. I know there's a van available for resident outings to Walmart and similar places.

we toured this community and it was very nice the staff was very friendly and the tour was good. The rooms were very nice and they has walk-out patios. The only issue is we needed more assistance for my loved ones than they could offer.
When we walked in for our tour, it was very quiet. You would think that at 11 am, something would be going on, but it was like everybody was gone. My loved one is very social, and is the type that gets up and walks around. And it just didn’t look like they did anything here.

June 4, 2021Hi there, thank you for your review. Our community prides ourselves on providing an engaging and fun atmosphere for our residents, and we regret to hear that you were not able to see that during your visit. We hope to get a second chance to show you everything our community has to offer. Thank you
The nice thing about this community, is they contract with another home health company. This other agency will be able to assist with your loved one's care, if needed. The community was really supportive. There was a neighbor who was near my loved one who made my loved one's transition better. This neighbor was supportive, along with the staff. To my knowledge, this community has been COVID free.

The community is very friendly. I believe we saved money since we didn't have to go grocery shopping. The time we toured the dining room was very nice. I felt safe and secure in this community. Anyone was willing to help you, if you needed it. Overall, I am not sorry we moved there.

I love Brentwood Estates for my parents. I feel so comfortable having them there. Although, it is independent living the staff watches out for their residents. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you [name removed] and everyone else that makes Brentwood a special place for its seniors!!! I know they have went out of of their way to help my parents when I was unable to be there and always communicate with me.

They don't deliver their promises. Instead of spending on needed, overdue, repairs, they change what already works, wasting the money. A chef who should have been fired years ago, but won't be, because he knows someone at corporate. Even when we get good workers, corporate either changes them, or fires them. Instead of making good on promises, managers have to make excuses, probably to keep their job. They overlook good management employees, for ones that are corporate "yes men". All this, and more, while raising our rents at an exorbitant and unfair rate. Any rules they make, if enforced at all, are done so, inconsistently.

August 17, 2020Hi there, thank you for your review. We regret to hear that you have not been completely satisfied with your experience and are confident this does not represent the community as a whole. We generally have yearly rate increases to accommodate for inflation and to ensure we are hiring the best staff for our communities, all of which is communicated before a lease is signed. If you would like to discuss your concerns regarding rent prices further, please feel free to reach out to the local team. They would be happy to work with you. Thank you
An outstanding choice for senior living.

[Name removed] talked so softly I had to turn up my volume. One woman was playing a lively recital on the piano and he said four women like to play the piano there. The noise level was uncomfortable to the point I'm not sure about living there. It was spartan atmosphere otherwise because of Covid 19 I suppose. I like the idea of a balcony apt. With home health cost added to rent it compares in price to The Lexington which has more to offer.

One bedroom apt.Was nice but too small for two people. NO medical care except what you hire. You wear a medical alert beeper. When money runs out you go to nursing home.
