I cannot say enough good things about the care staff at Asbury Place Maryville. The CNAs and nurses are all top notch!! They are compassionate, efficient, and treat your loved one like family. Rating the care staff separately they would get a 5, although the facility was always short staffed.The administration on the other hand would get a 2 or a 3. Communication was terrible between the admin and hospice, admin and staff, and admin and family. The admissions person did not communicate information to the staff, so the family had to inform the care staff the first 5 days what my loved one needed until all staff had been briefed. My loved one was never on the correct diet the entire 6 weeks because doctor's orders were not communicated. I called repeatedly to pay bills, leaving messages weekly and waiting days for a return call. After my loved one passed away, they didn't send a final bill for 3 weeks and sent the account to collections prior to 30 days.... Read more

My loved one was previously a resident at Asbury Place Maryville and our experience at this facility was overall terrible. Hidden fees, very large move in community fee, terrible communication.....my loved one didn't get their medication for days. There was a total lack of communication about my loved one's care all around. I would not recommend Asbury Place Maryville to others.

My loved one was previously a resident at Asbury Place Maryville and our experience at this facility was very good. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The staff, care services, value for cost and food were good. They did a good job and really tried to care for my loved one the best that they could before she passed. I would definitely recommend Asbury Place Maryville to others.

I have been very pleased. I love the setting, and am happy that she has pretty surroundings to get out and walk around in. Every member of the staff I have met are top notch. They have made a difficult adjustment for her go much smoother. My only con would be the interior needs some spiffing up..paint is scuffed on the walls in hallways and not many pictures are hung on the empty nails...it could use a little freshening up. Care is way more important to me than appearance, and they excel in that department.

The tour guide and the staff that I met during my tour were great. I really liked the facility too. It was all good until we got to the director of nursing. I did not like her very much and did not agree with a lot of the things she was saying to me. She was acting like she knew my mother better than me and that just did not sit right with me. There were also some things she wanted us to do prior to moving in that I did not agree with either.
