Arden Courts A ProMedica Memory Care Community in Potomac

My husband has been a resident at Arden Court of Potomac for almost 2 years, I have never regret my decision. I m grateful for the care and concern that has been shown to him and our family. I feel so welcome and comfortable every time I visit, I highly recommend this facility for anyone who is looking to a place for their love one.

I visit the facility at least once a week and got a chance to observe the care for the residents. The staffs are very professional , and helpful for the residents. They are also helpful for people working with the facility from other company .

My dad has been a long term resident since 2019 and he is thriving at the facility. I specially want to give special thanks to [name removed]. He is going a great job as the new executive director! And thank you to all the nurses and caretakers who work with my dad every day.

I work within the industry and work directly with the administrative staff. They have very solid operations and wonderful events! Everyone here is very compassionate and the facility is nest and clean.

While we have seen significant improvements in care and management since [name removed] became the executive director, we are thankful to the staff for the excellent, compassionate care they provide my mom. I recently had the opportunity to witness some notable changes taking place at Arden Courts under the new leadership of Director [name removed]. My mother has been a resident here for the past seven years. The experience has been nothing short of transformative, both for the residents and their families. She has brought a fresh and innovative perspective to the facility, challenging the status quo in order to enhance the quality of life for those in her care. From the moment you step through the doors, it's evident that a positive and energizing shift is underway. She is intent on improving the overall well-being of the residents. While these changes have undoubtedly been positive, it's essential to acknowledge that transitions of this magnitude can be challenging for both residents and their families. She has navigated these challenges with grace and compassion. She has implemented open communication channels, actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns promptly.

My husband has been a resident for over a year. The staff is professional and caring. I feel welcome and informed.The entire staff looks out for the patients whether they are caretakers or from other departments such as food service or maintenance. I feel he is safe. So glad I made this choice. I highly recommend Arden Court of Potomac.

I had an amazing experience. I visited the facility for care of my husband. The charge nurse assisted me. She was very knowledgeable and caring. I did not feel like I was just a number. I felt as if I would give the care of my dear husband over to someone that I could actually trust, to have compassion for him, and to properly give him the care that he requires. She was very helpful in explaining the services and I would recommend this facility 10 times over.

Love [name removed] so helpful, nice and kind! Always a smile on her face! She always knows what my grandma is thinking and is like a member of our family. We are so thankful and grateful to her for all she does!

I live in Florida and especially with the advent of Covid had not gotten to visit my mother who is a resident at the Arden Courts in Potomac. Luckily, I have family members nearby who see her regularly. I had the opportunity to visit her recently during the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff were so kind and courteous and helpful. I felt like there was more than enough staffing on-duty to provide care and attend to residents which was comforting. Some years in the past, this has not been the case. I had the opportunity to meet [name removed], the Executive Director who was lovely and attentive. I was impressed by the facility and staff and my impressions were only confirmed by family that regularly visits. I feel very comforted by the care my mother receives at Arden Courts and see in videos and pictures sent weekly by family how engaged and cared for she is by the staff. Look forward to visiting again soon.

My mother receives excellent care and enjoys the community at Arden Courts. The staff do a great job with activities and making residents feel safe and happy. Very impressed with the dedication of staff.

My family has been visiting our mother for over six years now. Arden Courts, Potomac has been a godsend for my mother and has given us such peace of mind. The manager [name removed] is doing a phenomenal job managing, upgrading the facility, improving activity, programming and nursing, etc. We highly recommend that you consider having your loved one. Look at Arden Courts as one of your options. It is beautiful as great places to visit, and the staff are so warm and take such good care of the residents.

Inprocessing was easy, it took about 2 weeks for her to settle in . Since then, she's been pretty much at ease. Because she can't really talk, it's been difficult to care for, so I'm really reliant on the staff to identify her needs and then do something about them. So she has an up to date set of clothes. I've had no concerns about her personal cleanliness, as the staff seems to be prompt at changing her underwear. While she's unable to fully participate in activities, they seem successful at including her. Staff has been remarkably helpful in buying her clothing she needs. They have used their personal funds to buy her clothes. They have been prompt at notifying me when she's fallen, and have appropriately sent her to emergency rooms. She can't feed herself, so they've seemingly been good at keeping her nourished.

It’s a small community with great work team. Workers are welcoming and treat residents with love and compassion. Everyone is family . The nurses are very competent and responsive to the residents and the families. They do care. You see this in their hard work ethics.

I am pleased with the wonderful care my wife receives here at ACP! The nurses are very attentive to our needs, and they have compassion! We are happy to say its like a family here. The director of nursing is very knowledgeable and she cares about the residents.

When going into Arden Court of Potomac you don’t know what to expect let me tell you what you should expect when being greeted with some of the best service in the industry, great smile amazing vibe from the nurses when i went in with my Grandfather wasn’t worry about a thing like normally, and his treatments have been helping his Dementia a lot i’m very thankful to have came to this medical center!

The nurses are very helpful when looking for memory care facility. All of my questions were answered and it put me at ease, while making a big decision. This facility has such a welcoming, warm, and most importantly thorough team!

My wife has been a resident of Arden Courts for the past four years. She was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia about five years ago and I could no longer care for her properly at home. I toured many memory care communities when I was exploring options and was so happy to find what I would consider the perfect place for my wife. Arden Courts of Potomac was also recommended by our family physician and, I must admit, that I am amazed at the progress she has made residing at this community. It is unquestionable in my mind when I see her demeanor and actions which show such improvement which are undoubtedly due to the wonderful caregivers. This is the essence of a really fine memory community. The bottom line rests with the dementia training and loving care which the caregivers show when interacting with my wife and the other residents. This community is top-notch on all levels!

We had a lot of problems. My loved one was there a short a period of time. The staff was great but the medical supervison was terrible. I am highly dissapointed in the qualtiy of care that my loved one received.
