Album Benbrook is a fantastic and very nice new place. The move in process was really good for us. There's no housekeeping services nor transportation, it's a truly independent community. The staff are there for activities, management, and to facilitate tours - it seems like there's always someone around. You can be involved as little or as much as you'd like. On [date removed], Benbrook experienced a electrical storm that greatly impacted the safety and security of the Album Benbrook residents, namely safety doors not locking, fire doors inoperable, and rendereing 2 of 3 elevators inoperable. The most impactful for me is lack of elevator access on my side of the complex, whereas I must walk to another building to take the elevator down from my 2nd floor apartment . I have had two surgeries during this period and if not for the compassion of other residents I would have had to walk in the after-effects of anesthesia from one building to the other to get to and from my apt. I don’t place responsibility on Greystar for damage to the building or services. What is Greystar’s responsibility is how they have handled repairs. 5 weeks of "Waiting for parts" is not a legitimate response for the senior residents who depend on these services. Besides the supposed assurances of safety and convenience in this complex, I feel I am no longer afforded what I

There was someone who was running the company who's communication is not on one on one. Things have now improved after having a few conversations. I have been invited personally to many things however, I have not had the change to get to things due to me still unpacking. They also do not have meals and dinning it is strictly independent living. My opinion is different from everyone else but I would advise to tour and judge on your own you have to see it for yourself.
