Residential Care Home
After being admitted into rehabilitation in December, my sister and I made the difficult decision to find an assisted living community for our mother. After touring many other places, we met with the owner of Rainbow Gardens. They have an open-door policy and invited us to tour both of their homes whenever we were ready. We met with the manager, the staff and the owners three different times before finally choosing to bring our mother to Rainbow Gardens. It was a big decision, and they were extremely patient and accommodating. Since then, we are very pleased with deciding to place our mom here. The staff is great! They are extremely observant and loving, and they do put the residents first. The home is always clean and the meals look amazing. My family is very close, and we also appreciate that this is a family-owned business. We recommend them to everyone!
We really liked how hands on the staff was and how patient they were with the patients. While our loved one was there they really did love her and did a great job caring for her. They helped her take her medicine and eat her meals. Her room was very clean and well organized and at one point she had a private room. The only complaint we had is one time the communication was lacking, but it was fixed and overall its a great community.
Although there are many reasons to be concerned once your parent or close relative is admitted to an ALF you always hope that your loved ones are well taken care of. My mom entered the ALF in [date removed] with Alzheimer's Disease stage 4. It was very tough taking care of her at home so I took a leap of faith and chose Loving Care ALF to take care of my mom. From day one, the staff was warm, kind and very understanding of the family dynamic and assured me that I made the right decision. I stayed away for a couple of weeks to allow for my mom to adjust to her new environment. The staff maintained contact with me throughout with regular status reports. Once I started visiting my mom, I found the facility to be extremely clean and the staff was wonderful. What really resonated for me was how "at home" the facility felt and how peaceful it was. As my mom began to decline, I noticed a genuine concern for my moms well being and a greater focus on her care. I visited the facility during the various shifts and spoke to everyone involved. Their dedication and attention to detail was consistent throughout. I was at peace knowing that my mom was in very good hands and it helped me also attend to my normal family life. During my moms final days, the emotion, stress and confusion was high but the staff at Loving Care ALF maintained their professionalism and attention to detail. During the process, my appreciation for Loving grew each day and I can say with confidence that we certainly made the right choice. If you want what's best for your loved ones at such a difficult time. Loving Care ALF should certainly be on a short list of facilities that know how to get it right. Much love and appreciation to the staff at Loving Care ALF.
