My loved one likes the food. It would be helpful for the staff to assist in placing the residents together for meals to communicate with each other. The community has lots of activities for the residents to participate in. I would live there if I could.
What we really like about Iris Memory Care is that they are prompt in inquires. When they realized that my dad was experiencing a medical issue they called me immediately and had him transported to the hospital. They keep me informed of any activity out of the norm. The main nurse gave me her personal cell for communication. She would send pictures of my dad while he was involved in daily activities. Based on the experience we have had so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.
My Mom and our family love Canoe Brook Broken Arrow. We looked at many places before moving Mom to assisted living four years ago. Mom feels so safe, and she is well looked after. All of the staff is so good to Mom, and are always willing to answer any question I may have. I feel as if they are our extended family. They all go way above their job description. We all work as a team to make sure Mom is well taken care of. When Mom was in the hospital several months ago, she kept asking "when do I get to go home"? That is how she feels about Canoe Brook Broken Arrow, it is her home. The Activity Director has taken Mom to several appoints, and will reschedule any follow up appointments. This is a big help, since Mom has problems getting in and out of our vehicles.
