Assisted Living
This is a church-based community and was by far the best value in the market. If resources are tight, you should consider this community. Fees are inclusive - which is a very big deal. I have been happy with the care for my father. The staff is caring and attentive given the size. My father is sharing a room with someone and the space is fine. Private rooms are about 10% more expensive. He likes the menu of the meals that are offered. They have activities and he participates in the ones that he wants.
All the staff has been extremely friendly and welcoming. The facility is well cared for and the food choices are great. My mom has been happy!
Best of Care Assisted Living has been a great place. I've felt that the care there has been better than any place that my loved one has been thus far in the Salisbury area. It's actually in Kannapolis. It's a smaller, family owned establishment. The owner even helps out when needed and even takes the patients to their doctors appointments, if needed. A lot of the patients have Alzheimer's and dementia there, of course, but the care has been good there. It's like every place though, it's hard for them to stay fully staffed at times. But hey, that is normal in healthcare today. Overall, it's a great place.
